so what's the deal w/you guys concerning the Knicks 2 trades? approve? disapprove? i love the fact that Isiah got 2 1st rounders for Nazr, even though he had to take on Malik Rose's contract...he's a good role player who i don't mind at all having on this team as long as we can clear some of the PF glut in the offseason.

i thought we gave up two 1st rounders in the Marbury trade, and a 2nd in the Maurice Taylor but oh i guess not.

I think the general consensus is that we like the Malik Rose trade a lot and dislike the Mo Taylor trade a lot. Two first rounders (albeit likely a #29 and a #30) will help. Mo Taylor makes no sense. We have a glut of PFs.

As for the draft picks, I don't think you can possibly say we gained four first rounders. Two of those first rounders were already ours. Secondly, we traded two first rounders (2004 and 2006-2010), and two guys who would've been lottery picks in most years (Maciej Lampe and Milos Vujanic) for Marbury. He also traded away a second rounder to get Nazr (who we just traded) and now used a second rounder to get Mo Taylor.

Basically, Isiah traded away two decent first rounders, Maciej Lampe, Milos Vujanic, two second rounders and got back two late first rounders. At the same time, we turned a starting lineup of Dikembe Mutombo, Antonio McDyess, Keith Van Horn, Allan Houston and Frank Williams into Kurt Thomas, Mike Sweetney, Tim Thomas, Jamal Crawford and Stephon Marbury. Not going to praise him for getting the draft picks, persay, and I really don't think our team is any better (we are younger, I'll give that).

Basically, it's a work in progress. Overall, I give Isiah a B for the Malik Rose trade, an F for the Mo Taylor trade and overall, I give him a C+. The jury is still out on this one, but I think he has to start getting some results. We better have an awesome draft this year.

I think everyone is with you on the Nazr trade. I dont know if you caught the Knick win over Indy, Rose only played about 9 minutes but had 8 boards, played great D and really had an impact leaving to a nice ovation.

I didnt realize what a smart guy he was.. he's really got a great head on his shoulders, its no wonder he's on the NBAs favorite guys. I especially like him if we are going to work on finding a young big like a future Ben Wallace or Brad Miller. Isiah just signed a 6-10 19 year kid that tore up the CBA. Rose is the kind of guy you want your young guys around.

Most think (I agree) that Mo Taylor is a disaster. Doesnt rebound, bad on D and we dont need him. Thats a head scratcher.

How was vaca?

i really can't complain much about Mo Taylor for Vin & Mooch...those 2 are completely useless anyway...i know the salary being taken on isn't really justified, but if Isiah uses KT as a trade chip in the offseason, Mo Taylor could be a nice insurance piece to have on the bench should Sweetney not work out as well as everyone would have liked...certainly both Rose & JYD will bring it every night, so we now have some good effort guys on the bench to teach these guys who defense & hustle is played...Mo can get you points in the post, something we are lacking in now...if Sweetney can stay out of foul trouble, he can be our PF of the future, but who knows if Isiah has other plans for him? maybe he will be traded to get us the C we desperately need? time till tell...we have another glut of PF's, but the draft picks are key & something i've been hoping for all year long...now we have some things to work deals with.

as for my vacation, i had an awesome time in vegas! won $1300 & got more lapdances in 2 nights than i can remember.

we played so much we even got the casino hostess to comp us our room & food & offer us a free 2 night stay at their hotel again each w/a guest anytime we like...just call me the high roller now i guess...haha!

the waitresses at the rio are so damn hot! & they're talented too...saw that asian girl from american idol get up & sign too...she's got a great voice...can't believe she got cut early on.
