That seems to be the only rationale for the Mo T deal. Seems IT expects to be able to package his expiring deal after next season for a real player. Whereas would have only been able to make baby steps forward with Moochie's and Vinnie's expiring deals. Maybe he's right. If so, at least there's a plan behind this idiotic trade. But it still doesn't explain why IT couldn't find someone who could at least play a little while earning way too much money.

Maybe the only way he moves up in the draft is to trade Sweetney.

And needs Mo. T if he does.

Sweets, and our two first rounders this year for the No. 1??? Sweets salary is small, so this is an easy one to do.

I like Sweet, but I like that trade more. But that doesn't mean I want Mo Worser D as my backup 4. I'd rather take my chances on what I could pick up than have that guy. Wasn't he playing behind Fatspoon in Houston?

One of the hardest to teach a big man is to play the lowpost. Therefore Isiah has decided to probably do something that he really doesn't want to do. I do believe that come the draft, he will package Sweetney with one of the picks to go after one of the first three picks. We all know that he needs a Center, and Isiah will not hesitate to trade Sweetney to get that done. PFs are plentyful in this league, but Centers are not. With Mo on our roster, despite the fact that he is a defensive liability, he can still provide lowpost presence until our future young Center is ready to command the frontline....Isiah is slowly slowly strategizing to put together something big.
