The problem I have with this team is if they are going to lose games don't just lose one game and win other. This Knicks team has to either make the playoffs which I highly doubt. Or they have to lose as many games as possible to move up in the draft. There are no in betweens.I have a strange feeling this team will try to make a push at the playoffs knowing they can't make it and lose their opportunity to move down the draft. If the Knicks are going to make a push at the playoffs put a 100%into it. if not put a 100% into moving up in the draft.

Coaches can't afford to blow games on purpose because it blows their career. You don't want your players to get into terrible habits and you can't tank 27 games - the league I think would notice. There is no doubt that teams sometimes will intentionally not do everything to win but to totally tank a third of the season is too obvious. Personally I'm too much of a fan to want my team or any team to intentionally tank - if it becomes to obvious and prevelent it basically ruins the sport.
