as GM and assistant GM? I think one major problem we have right now is the system of checks and balances. I think both of these guys are really bright guys who have been big winners in the nBA, but also show high character and intelligence.

Once again you've missed the entire point. You obviously have not grasped the concept of Jim Dolan. You're talking about winners as though Isiah is excluded from that group. In fact his basketball iq is higher than both of those guys put together. Secondly Isiah has proven to have an eye for talent based on Ariza and the guys he pollyed for in Indiana who were buried on the benches of other teams and went on to become allstars. Thunder Dan and Steve Kerr have that talent too? If so, I've never seen them use it. Lastly, if giving out jobs as GMs and assistant GMs were based on what "you think" to be high intelligence, how about Marv Albert as GM? How about any guy from this board? There are a few people here who seem to be pretty intelligent.
Thinking that hiring two former bball players who are now talking heads on tv will turn around this franchise is ridiculous. You seemed to have forgotten that Dolan is the owner. Case closed.

Think of the outfits he'd come up with for the Knick City Dancers!!
LOL! Good one, Marv. Wrong in so many ways, but I like it.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.
