What would happen if we just released allan?

Would his contract come off the books if he signed with another team?

Do you think he would be open to a buy out?

why would any other team want him? and if he did, he'd sign for the veterans' minimum, which would mean we'd still pay the rest of the salary. Same thing if we bought him out. Why? We lose his services and we still pay all that money. What's the point?
