WTf, I want one person to explain this to me? Malik Rose is a PF who can back up Mike. What excatly do we need with Mo taylor who is also a PF, although we are the tilt for him upwards of 15mm? we dont even need him! what position does he play for us? even if we got a draft pick its just a backwards move. this is a layden trade. this is just something to do. this guy isnt young hes had drug problems injury problems i mean WTF???? STUPID!

Im trying to think of one positive here. I mean isnt there another club out there who we couldve used their contracts on next year for a much better result?no shotblocking non-rebounding comes to play once a week overpaid by a gazillion undersized PF who has seen his better days.

you're right. there is no need for mo taylor. and IF WE DON'T GET A PICK, this trade is AWFUL. getting a pick make it somewhat palatable b/c the $15mil still expires the same time as h20 but if there's no pick, you gotta think that $8mil in expiring deals would be worth something in a sign and trade. i mean, that's what he used to get jamal this offseason.

This deal is awful if we didn't get a pick. This is a REALLY REALLY bad trade without the pick. I don't understand it.

The Spurs trade was good. This one just stinks.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

If we get the pick, I like the trade. Getting a 1st round pick while giving up Vin and Moochie is simply unbelievable.
If we don't get it, I'm not too crazy about the trade. I wouldn't expect much more for our package than a guy like Mo, but we're taking back that contract for nothing.

relax folks, let Isiah do what he does best. Don't forget that we have expiring contracts that we will need to get rid off next season. Rome wasn't build in a day.... I was just hoping to see Kurt gone, but as usual, it is always a wish that has yet to come true....

Oh my G. Not only that, but if we stink next year and we could very well STINK, the draft pick we acquired could be right in front of the pick we gave up! and we took on 15mm$

explain this to me? i thought mike Sweetney was going to gethis chance here? what is this company doing

this trade is so bad that im scared for any other move. In one case we value the pick, in the second case we dont? I dont understand it, i dont get it---please get the fck out of here with these no brain idiots.

You should just offer Jim Calhoun 7mm a year to run this MFer because we have brainless idiots doing it.

I don't like the Houston deal if there's no pick involved but the Spurs deal outweighs the negatives of the Houston deal. Now we go into the offseason with at least $30 mil in expiring contracts and 3 1st round picks (maybe 4 depending on the Houston deal). I'd rather go into the offseason with that than with $40 mil in expiring contracts and 1 1st rd pick. The team should have more trade assets this summer now than it did yesterday.

Did Layden ever *acquire* first rd picks? Today's moves are the opposite of what Layden would do.

no bonn, if we don't make this deal, we'd be $35 mil in expiring deals + TWO first round picks.

now we're $28 mil in expiring deals + TWO first round picks MINUS one 2nd round pick.

I'll tell you what.. I'm very pissed right now that we didn't get a first round pick in the Rockets deal cause I don't see the point in getting another PF. However, I'm not going to ask for Isiah's head on a platter or anything (at the end of the day we only gave up Moochie and Vin and a 2nd rounder )... anyway, lets see where he goes with this.

I already said I DON'T like the Houston deal, but the SA deal outweighs it and the team is in better position than it was yesterday. I agree that the ideal scenario would be doing the SA deal and not the Hou deal. But the current scenario is much better than it was yesterday

This is so dumb.. ESPN radio is still saying we have a first round pick from the Rockets.. I feel like killing someone
