I can't understand this. This dude has been part of many trade talks for years now, but so far he is still on our roster. Can someone please tell me why???

Look on the bright side.. now that we have 6 PFs, KT will have a reduced role in the upcoming games :)

I also, don't understand though... I mean, we could have traded KT's ugly contract for Malik's ugly contract... and now we have BOTH their ugly contracts!!

Isiah likes Kurt I guess. I was hoping we could have traded him instead of Nazr, but I'm not heart broken over it. Bottom line is we still got some extra 1st rounders, keeping Kurt doesn't phaze me one bit.

It's so hard to trade Kurt because no team wants a 32 year old unathletic PF/C against whom opposing PF/Cs shoot 55%. What would you give up for a player meeting that description?

i don't think he'll have a reduced role, he'll probably be the starting center now. either way that's fine because mike will probably get the start, unless taylor beats him out.

I am in the minority and like KT on the team (And love him as a player), however, at this point, we have to have him on the team, b/c he's the only guy who can even play a little center. He will probably have to be traded however this Summer. We are gonna have to get rid of Taylor like this off season. We really have no need for him. We have KT who can shoot and Sweetney who can post up. That trade didn't make any sense

Isiah thinks dido is nuts, so if dido says rid of KT, then on the contrary he must keep him.

Kt has been solid for us, and is not the root of our problems.

If we had traded Kurt and had no players who could play even a little center, we'd just lose more games and get a higher pick. Wouldn't that be a good thing?

Yes, this season is lost and I agree we need to be as close to the #1 as possible. But I am just saying that if the KNICKS as the team wants to even compete, they are gonna need KT from this point on, until they get another center.

I LOVE Kurt Thomas. Behind Allan, he is probably my favorite player, along with Penny and (Jamal approaching both of them.) However, I have also said with everyone else that it's time to move him on and package him in a deal that would get us a younger player. Maybe someone like Kwame or Dalembert or a pick. But if that doesn't work, then I am still happy he's on the team.

I can't believe i'm saying it but Nalod is right. KT has played very well this year. I would still like to trade him in the offseason for a young bigman and draft picks. and with the way he's been playing his value will be very high. I'm not not devasted that he wasn't traded this year.
