"The Bucks have agreed to a deadline-beating trade, but it doesn't involve Michael Redd.

League sources tell ESPN.com's Marc Stein that the Bucks will send guard Mike James to Houston later Thursday for a package including Reece Gaines and two future second-round picks.

The Rockets have coveted James all season for guard depth, and trading him would relieve Milwaukee of the $7.1 million left on James' contract after this season.

The Bucks have been trying to trade Keith Van Horn and James this week in hopes of creating more financial flexibility to re-sign Redd this offseason.

Cleveland, according to league sources, is the Redd suitor feared most by Milwaukee, and the Cavaliers should have the salary-cap space in July to make the former Ohio State star a strong offer."

Yea Houston wins in this deal, James is an excellent pickup for this team. Rockets are certainly trying to contend this season. Wouldn't be surprised if they are trying to get Kurt from us right now.

With Philly making all those moves, is there ANY chance they might consider a resigned Dalembert and Mashburn for Kurt and TT/Penny trade? Don't really see them doing this, but it never hurts to bring it up.

My friend tells me that he heard Baron Davis will be moved to Golden state, but didn't tell me who else was involved.

Dale Davis and a young guy... possibly Pietrus. I would love him on my team. I would even take back Foyal's deal to get him if the package was right.

Giving it a try wouldn't hurt. Personally, I think they will do whatever they can to keep him there.
