After I saw his first game back after the injury, I thought we might finally see the Tim Thomas that should be. He was agressive.. took it in instead of fading away. He did a lot of that today too. When I see this I think I want to trade him away before the deadline next season, and then resign him for a reasonable contract.. but on Saturday he'll remind me why we shouldn't.

what was the final score ? i missed the last 2 minutes

Marv has turned completely anti-Knick. A little bitterness is okay, but he just had nothing nice to say about them.

You're kidding me right? Come on dude...this is the exact team we signed on for...everyone is still here. Sweets big minutes, craw playing PG marbs SG time. Small lineup. Kurt at center drawing the other big man out of the paint.

Sixers have no shot blockers and boston has the red sox. The knicks still have a chance, we can beat everyone in our division (except boston appearently maybe yankee fall out) and we get the 3 seed.

We're still the favorites to win the division as is.

We're going to beat philly in 6 and play the second seeded heat in the second round.

Timmy has had a rough off season. I've never had my sister pass away or my cousin and definitely not both. It would mess up my priorities as well...but like someone else posted...in the last game he seemed ready to roll (somebody must have said something to him during the break...probably family.)

we traded 2 guys that dont ever play and one that was nursing an injury. They traded 3 guys in their core rotation.

Plus we always play well against Phili because they are a jumpshooting team.

Simrud's right... meaningless win. Luckily for us the schedule changes and we will get smacked in the next 3 games.

Marv got fired because he didn't drink the Dolan Kool Aid and was actually critical of the team's play. But sometimes criticism is honest. I'd rather hear Marv being honest than Mike Breen trying to tell me that Kurt Thomas should be considered for first team all-nba defense. Maybe if Marv were still here, people wouldn't live in this fantasy world, thinking that if the Knicks had just gotten Webber, everything would be okay.

Marv is overrated as an announcer, he is clearly past his prime. He make mistakes now on a regular basis. The Knicks were bad, he doesn't like Isiah (especially what Zeke did to Fratello), he didn't care for working with Clyde as well (nasty secret about Marv, he hates former player doing color commentary), and besides all that he is a freak that gets off on biting women. He wanted out of MSG to do the Nets, because they were hot. It's call jumping ship. Let me get this right, he is going to criticize Carter or Kidd when he screws over Ian and take his job. Kidd and Carter who both hate the media already. Please, Marv will blow them kisses.
