I just saw a potnetial trade where Webber goes to the Knicks on NBA.COM. Is that for real? I cant even imagine how that would work, but man that would be amazing.

and Dalembert isnt involved. I think its Corliss, Skinner, and Kenny Thomas for C Webb and Barnes

I really hope those 3 guys that Philly sent to Sac are expiring contracts cause if not than WHAT THE HELL WAS SACRAMENTO THINKING. Can someone post if those are expiring contracts or not, THANKS

Corliss and SKinner are signed till at least 2007 and Corliss makes 6 mill year while Skinner makes 5. Kenny Thomas makes about 6 mil per year untill 2010. Absolutely ridiculously bad deal for Sac-Town. If Isiah Thomas was really trying to get Webber, how could he not get him? Didn't seem like it took much. There have to be picks involved.

Sactown proved they don't need Webber. I guess they trying to be more hard nosed. Corliss, Skinner and Kenny are dirty work guys.

Still Philly gets Webber.....how he fits? I dunno. He's not a philly guy. The coach in Philly will figure it out.....they just blew up the east.

we could've given them much more!

now i hope Isiah doesn't go after Jalen and Marshall. With Webber it would've made sense but now the furthest those players will get us is to the 1st round. Stay pat, lose and trade for picks!

As much as I didn't want Webber here so that we could rebuild, getting him at a clearance level discount would've been enticing. I am really wondering what was going on behind the scenes here. None of this makes sense...

It makes no sense at all, Sacramento is making it seem as if they really wanted to get rid of Webber. But geez they could have gotten so much better.

The only thing I can think is that Sac

1) really wanted to get rid of CWebb cause they thought his knee probably wouldn;t hold out too much more

2) they are going to sign Peja long-term for a lot of $$$ and needed to get rid of Webber.

3) wanted bigs as replacement. They got 3 solid, rugged guys. Fill the 3, 4, 5 spots off the bench.

Not too bad, but still should have demanded a draft pick or something.
