I'll hold off on giving a score, but I'll say Ariza goes off for 15 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals

Yeah. It's Trevor Ariza time. Should be fun to see him go up against Prince.

it's strange though that Ariza has been getting a big back seat to Penny and TT. Maybe after the trade deadline.

Ariza: poor man's tayshaun prince?

Last time we played detroit Reezy had some nice moments in the first half. I think he even made it on ESPN's 10 ten that night with a dunk. Too bad we got blown out the second half. Lets hope we put up a fight, at least for pride's sake. If we can hold back the suns & heat, we should be able to hold it down with the pistons. Only question is can we close it out?

I still have hope he'll see some action, but even if he doesn't, tomorrow's the last game before the deadline.

I'm getting ready for the attacks, but personally, I don't even think Detroit is that good. They have a few pretty good players who played extremely well together last year, and who (from what I've seen) are not playing at nearly the same intensity that they did last year. Now granted, I haven't seen them play in a little while (about 3 weeks or so), but I think the Knicks are going to come out playing extremely hard after they've had some time to let everything settle in, and they see that they can still make a legitimate playoff run. I know everyone's bent on getting to the lottery and building for next year or the year after, but I'd still like to make the playoffs, and when I look at the schedule for the remainder of the season, I think there's a more than decent chance they will. They have a really easy schedule in the last 15 games of their season, which will allow them to make a nice run if they've cut the gap on Boston or Philly by then. Boston has a pretty easy schedule too, but Philadelphia has a pretty damn hard stretch of games where they have to play 13 out of 15 games against teams currently above .500. To contrast, the Knicks close out the season with a game a stretch of 15 games with only 5 against above .500 teams (2 of them being against Chicago, who probably won't be there for too long since their schedule gets pretty tough too).

Basically, to sum up that blob, I think if the Knicks can go 9-5 in their next 14 games, they should be able to close out 11-4 and get to .500. I don't even think they'll have to get there, as Chicago and Philly will probably both be below before season's end. So let's start this with a nice, positive win against the Pistons tomorrow, right?

Ya know you can say the Knicks are 5-19 or something like that in 2005 but they are 3-3 in their last 6 and 2-1 in their last 3. Maybe just maybe they will come out with some fire and desire. Maybe Nazr's groin has gotten better with the rest, we will have JC for tonights game. Hopefully Penny can continue to try and post up smaller defenders. Maybe Detroit will come out flat after the break. I think it will be a good game tonight.

Det has a lot of pieces that just fit nicely together. Its hard to watch at this point. I'm sure KT and co will be showcased yet again for extended minutes.

I'm over this season. I want us to lose every game. Just for one year. If this draft sucks than so be it. But I'm tired of every year watching Lebron, Wade, Melo, Gordon and Amare lighting up the league while our $100mm payroll can get us into the playoffs. I'm not saying rebuild or do like the Bulls did for 6 years, I'm just saying for this ONE year PLEASE for the love of god take a shot at getting a bigtime talent from this draft.

Maybe Green is the next TMac or Marvin Williams is the next Pippen or Sheldon Williams is Ben Wallace with a post game.

But those three wins have come against some of the few (five) teams in the NBA with a WORSE record than the Knicks.

I hope they lose by 50 tonight so they give up this idea of making the playoffs. It's crazy. They need a good young pick. It doesn't have to be Bogut, but there is so much talent in this draft.

arent our last 2 wins against the Bucks w/ no Redd and the Bobcats with no Ok4? And I think the Bobcats even took the lead down the stretch or at least tied it in the last 2 minutes
