My mistake, Baker, but Baker and Kemp are equally crappy in my opinion except Baker has a longer contract, which is worse in my view.

Remember, this is the rebuilding process. We do not need an old, out-of-shape, inflated contract, depress ridden undersized power forward to add to our crop of overpaid players. If Vin Baker becomes a Knick I would consider lighting myself on fire. The only fathomable reason to him coming here would be to make us worse to 2003 in hopes of locking up LeBron, but other then that, we do not need him. Enough Vin Baker talk.

"The only fathomable reason to him coming here would be to make us worse to 2003 in hopes of locking up LeBron".....EXACTLY!!!!A player like Lebron James comes along very rarely we need to draft him next year and draft either Q wood, williams or wagner this year

I think we should concentrate on a power forward this year since the draft is loaded with them. I'm liking Gooden for forward or Borchardt at center. Best available should be picked.

I'd trade for Baker if we could send them Allan Houston, but they've already got enough swingmen...

The way that Thomas is playing, does anyone think we could package him and Allan for a prime time player like McDyess? I would hate to loose Thomas, but this may make sense for both teams - Denver gets 2 fairly solid players signed to long term deals and the Knicks get a All Star. Denver may have tons of cap space coming up, but really, who is going to go to Dever to play? And now that VanX is gone, will Antonio stay?

Indeedy, that would be a nice trade. I did read somewhere though (I think RealGM) that McDyess has considered signing with Orlando if Orlando couldn't land Duncan, he'd be their next best bet. Imagine that, McGrady, Hill, and McDyess. It would almost be unfair. Then again, Orlando could have Hill and McDyess go down and they, for the 3rd year in a row, could be the team that never was. Ah, I love it. Dyess would be a nice pickup, but if we could get a big man in the draft (either Gooden or Borchardt), I wouldn't do it. Then again, getting rid of Houston's contract might be too good to pass up. I'm not sure if Vandeweghe would do that though, since he feels he can win a championship with Antonio. I don't even know, I've strayed so far off the topic and contradicted myself so many times I'll just stop here.
