Anybody have a take on Flip Saunders? His 10 year tenure of mediocrity and frustration in Minny does not impress me, yet he is spoken high of. Granted, things out of his control such as the Joe Smith disaster (loss of draft picks, KG's monster contract sucking ability to properly surround him, Terrell Brandons career injury, and of course Sam I am with the Planet Spree ego centric thing this year.

Im not saying anything bad about Flip, but I just don't see where he has distiguished himself as premiere coach.

I wouldn't mind him but first two priorities have to be Jackson and Brown. If those 2 guys turn it down then I would be more than happy with Flip since him and Steph get along so well.
