...on the basketball court. ughh. there's nothing more i can say that hasn't been said already but i had to convey my disgust with a post.

can we just cut him? ok, he's playing with one hand. if he can't go 100%, then don't go at all. i mean, his 100% is about 25% of ariza's so what's the point? bench him...FOREVER.

Now, seriously... What a waste of talent?! My God, If I had the height and talent he has, maybe I would be a NBA Superstar. I would work hard, I would always thank God for the talent he has given me and work on getting better, on really making my team win. This guy... I just don't get it.

I miss KVH!!

I don't miss Van Horn at all, but I don't like TT either.

i do miss van horn...he & Marbury were at least playing well together & the overall team chemistry was good imo...TT's total lack of effort on the court this year has been a travesty to watch...he should give back the $24 million he's owed over the next 2 years for that alone.

Let's see what his contract can help bring in.

I miss Van Horn. I would rather drop TT and resign Postell. I'd rather have lame players who put in effort than talented guys who don't.

And yes, TMS is 100% right... Marbury and Van Horn were working real well together. I still wonder how this team would be if we were able to put together something like Nazr, Sweetney, Van Horn, Crawford, Marbury, Ariza, Baker (if playing like he was last year), JYD, Houston (healthy), Penny Hardaway, Frank Williams. That would've been a pretty good team.

well, we have to wait and see the end result of the kvh/tt trade. maybe with tt's expiring contract we can get a player that will put us over the hump? plus milwaukee has lost its love affair with van horn and trying to trade him out of town, a team that needs size and scoring. they are willing to take back the " big dog" to get rid of van horn! not a good sign.

Agreed that TT is a waste, but were KVH and Doleac REALLY playing that well? I don't know. I don't trust them. Doleac would be great to have right now, but when was the last time KVH scored 20pts? He's been injured ever since that trade. I look at it as the Knicks trading the guy at the BEST possible time, rather than waiting too long.

We need Van Horn's 12 and 5 because TT is a loser! Actually I'd rather have Ariza than either Van Horn or TT and I don't miss Van Horn because we have Ariza. If we had Van Horn, I wouldn't want him taking minutes away from Ariza.

Exactly losing KVH for TT wasn't good but its certainly not devasting since we weren't going to win a championship with KVH as our SF. I prefer Ariza, Spree, Marvin Williams

KT was all star stat wise when he had KVH on his side. THe sum of those pieces worked very well together. The complimented very well, and KVH rebounded great.

I don't blame Isiah for making the trade, but we would be better off.

The bucks want to move KVH for expiring deal as KVH as an option year. The bucks need moeny to sign mike redd. Philly needs production. KVH is not the messiah, but he can rebound very well, and when hot, can put up 20pts easy if given the touches. AI is going to wear out.

I don't care about what he is doing now. I care about what he and doleac were doing on the Knicks before they were traded!

You mean when they got up to 25-27 and we were all excited, thinking they could crack .500 for the first time since 2001, and then they lost two in a row to drop to 25-29 and then they were traded? They beat a bunch of crap teams to get to 25-27, and that was the APEX. I wasn't impressed. I guess I see why some people were, but I wasn't too sad to see KVH go at the height of his value.

If it makes anyone feel better: Nazr Mohammed is averaging the most points and rebounds and shooting the highest percentage and playing the most minutes and the most games this season of anyone in that trade. It was a fine trade and Nazr is by far the most useful and most tradeable asset in the entire trade. It was worth it. They wouldn't have beaten the Nets with a healthy Van Horn, sorry.

I like KVH's game but his value is vastly overrated at times. He was traded for a 35 year old Mutumbo making a gazillion dollars (of which the Nets are STILL paying). Then he was traded for Glen Robinson and the team that traded Robinson didnt even get a player back, they got a retired Brandon who was just coming off the books. Basicly they would rather have nobody then pay KVH what they were paying him (I feel the same about TT).

If expiring contracts weren't valuable, I'd rather have a free roster spot than TT. But his and other expiring contracts should be a key (but not the sole) parts of rebuilding.

Wow, that's basically TT territory
