Ok guys, heres my lil theory, and I want some feedback.

If Michael Jordan was not around, I believe that the Knicks wouild have won three championships in the 90's. Actually, I believe they would've 3-peated. The first championship would've been in the 91-92 season. Yep...the Blazers had no chance against the Bulls, but the Knicks gave the bulls their best scare. If there was no MJ, that would be title number 1. The very next year, they had the best record in the east. They took the Bulls to six games, and I know it was only the eastern conference semi's, but c'mon, everyone knows that if it wasn't for MJ and Charles Smith, the Knicks wouldve been in the finals. Now, normlly, a Knicks-Suns Finals wouldve been impossible to predict, but if the Knicks had won in 92, the experience factor would give them the edge.

And then of course, there's 94. I was at Game 5, when the Knicks went up 3-2, so I don't really like talking about how that series ended. But I do know, with the 2 championships already under their belt...the 94 Finals would've been way easier. I mean really....if it wasn't for their nervousness in Game 1, that series would've been totally different. Anyway...thats my post...whatcha think?

To me, there was only one sure shot... 1997. On the last day of that season, on Chicago's home floor in a game that meant something (Chicago was trying to lock up the best record in a season), the Knicks took it to them. They were really picking up some steam at the moment when PJ Brown followed the rat's orders and started a fight.

'97 are you kidding me? Now, I will agree that that was our best team....but c'mon the Bulls were incredible that year. The year before they won 72 games, and in 97 they won 69 games! Thats only three less than the year before. I love the Knicks, but seroiusly...theres no way the Knicks win a series with the Bulls, even if the Rat hadn't pulled that ****.

Aren't we talking about the Bulls without Michael. No way in hell the bulls win 72 games in '97 with Pippen, Rodman, and Longley. No way. Knicks were the 2nd best in the league that year, quite unfortunate.

Yeah, we were...but it was obvious that Scooter was talking about with jordan in there....or else you'd be right...the Bulls game at the end of the season wouldve been a non-factor.But with Jordan in there...the Knicks had no chance

1996-1997 was Jordan's second full year back after the baseball experiment. And yes, that Bulls team was absolutely incredible. I still think that with the momentum we had going into the playoffs (we did beat the Bulls twice in the last month of the season), we could've taken them in 7. King... I don't think you're wrong about 1992, and I KNOW I'm not completely right about 1997... I just called it like I saw it, that's all.

Off-note: BK had the greatest arch shot ever... best scorer the Knicks ever had.
