The best self appointet point vs. the best player pound for pound in AI!

We get to see the Sam I am fella up close.

Back to back, makes sense why we limited Reezys and Sweets minutes. Let the Scrubs play against the Bobs and the young better players learn and play against Philly. I may tune into this one to see the two best street players go at it!

Who wins? Who cares! We argue either way: TO tank or not to tank, that is the question!

Lets get a good effort in any event!

Isiah, if you are reading, then look at this post very very very carefully. Now stop looking in Europe and going to Uconn games, and there is a player for you to scout right in front of your own team named Dalembert. Take a good look at him. Now, think about what it would be like if he were on THE KNICKS. Trade all you can for him Isiah. He's what you need!

I think that's a mistake. He's not the solution. This team needs a lot of help, starting with new starters at the 3, 4 and 5. Now is not the time to mortgage the future AGAIN for one piece. This team needs to stockpile young talent.

stop dreaming. Dalembert is not going anywhere, and Isiah is doing the right thing. I will only blame him for not considering the young Jamal Sampson as the cheapest way to fix our frontcourt...

I love Sam but wouldnt give up the farm to get him. While it pains me I do hope we lose, but KT/TT/Penny have monster games so Isiah can peddle their assess to every GM listening next weekend

I would really doubt that Penny could have any possible real value around the league - i would think it would be only about his expiring contract. Then again I'm admittedly biased because I think his play has been really atrocious and i am cringing whenever he's on the floor now.

In order to sign Sampson, a player on the current roster would have to be waive, wait til that person clears waivers, then the Knicks can sign Sampson to a 10 day contract only since the MLE was used to sign Baker. Only Ariza and Bruno contracts fit under one year to waive, I forget about Baker's deal though, I think it is like 1 year with the team's option. Brewer has a year deal too, I think.

Actually, there's a few incorrect statements in your post. No one would have to be waived. The Knicks have a free roster spot. The Knicks also have $1.4 mil of the MLE and the full $1.6 mil of the LLE remaining, although they shouldn't spend that much money on Sampson anyway. Also, I think you can waive any player regardless of the size or length of their contract. (You're just obligated to pay the full contract if you waive him.)
