Marbury, Penny, Crawford penitrate. Then dump the ball to Sweetney. Either he will score, get fouled, or score and get fouled. He is close to unstoppable when he get the ball in that position. That should be the offensive game plan when he is in.

Him posting up is okay. But if thats the case then have more people move without the ball & have a guy cut to the basket. And have more ball movement to find the open shooter if he kicks the ball out. Instead of everyone just standing around watching him play one on one or one on two.

Also, to get Sweetney going, make Sweetney stay out of foul trouble

Dude, if Marbury, Penny, and Crawford go to the hoop at once, I might be able to score. You are right, however, once Sweetney gets the ball near the basket, if he has a little room, he's going to score. Unfortunately, he's too slow, as everyone says, at this weight, to break free on his own.

Sweets looks more like a ribs kind of guy to me.

I still dont understand why the dont feed it to him more. I cant tell you how many time I see him fighting for position on the block and they just dont get him the ball, especially when if he doesnt have a shot he makes a good pass.

this has been the case the entire season. the only time they seem to make a concerted effort to get him the ball is usually after a timeout and herb tells them to. otherwise, within the flow of the game, the only guy that used to get it to him was h20 and that's probably b/c he's a coach's kid and has played with post players before. it irks me.

That's schwell.

Yeah, maybe if Herb uses the term "feed it to Sweetney" he'll play better.

Sprewell and Charlie Ward were really good post feeders. Sweetney would have been in Heaven playing with them.

considering that was Ward's only job for 8 years as a PG he better be good at it.

Well, maybe we can bring him in as a specialist.

yet another game where they barely look his way in the post.

he gets it in the post during the 4th quarter twice. once, he makes a nice fadeway in the lane jumper over dalembert and second, he gets fouled by corliss. why don't they go right back to him after that corliss foul?

it's so frustrating b/c you know he can do so much more and we need what he can give us but they choose not to go that route.

btw, you can hear aguirre all night screaming for sweetney to get into the box and to run a hi-low.

Can Herb get it? Please, fans have already accepted the team's fate! Even Isiah is ready for the lottery! Play the kids! Don't make the same stupid mistake of making it look like you are trying. Play Sweetney, feed him, make him master the low post. Starting or not, play Ariza! He'll give you twice what TT can! Play for the future, even if you are not part of it...

I'd rather see Ariza and Sweetney start too, but if you want to look on the bright side, I think the Knicks will win fewer games and get a higher pick as long as they keep TT and Kurt in the starting lineup.

True. Keep starting them, but, you know, give Ariza and Sweet the... starter's minutes
