The Knicks are about to go on a winning streak starting tomorrow. This Knicks team have done all they could considering the injuries that they have endured. They were already an incomplete squad, but the injuries have further destroyed what we had. Yes, they could have done better, but the supporting cast is really not that good...Marb has been a one man show all season long, but the heavy minutes that he has played so far are catching up to his body. Just when he thought that Houston was going to be around to spare him, he lost him for what could be the rest of the season. TT has been in and out of the lineup, but in all actuality could be better if he was to stay away from the team, because he is not contributing like he should. Crawf has been hurt, and so on. Just like KG, he hasn't complained about any of his health issues, but the only difference between the two, KG has a lot better talents around him. Marb has been heavily criticized for missing foul shots at the end of games, but folks seem to forget that this kid plays 45 minutes every night and by virtue of the style of play that he brings on the court, he does exert a lot of energy. He has to provide scoring and most of all try to orchestrate this bad musical group that is not playing at the same musical notes....

The best thing that could have ever happened to the Knicks has been the hiring of Herb W. as our coach. He is not a great coach yet, but the more he coaches, is the more experienced he will be. This team has played well for the most part since he was introduced as head coach, and I do expect them to get better. We still need to make a couple of moves as soon as possible to change the flavor or the losing habits that we have developed. Get rid of the old losers of the Layden eras, and we will be fine...We need new blood, new attitude, and new desire on this team....Starting tomorrow, we will start a little winning streak and we will build from that....

Good luck to all my Knickebockers......

Holla at me.

I still think that the knicks would've had a somewhat decent record with a little bit of luck + an entirely healthy squad.

We could have won a lot more games if Lenny and Isiah weren't so hungup on the frontline that we have been using. Lenny specifically lost us a lot of games. I blame it on poor management, both: frontoffice and exheadcoach Lenny. There is really no reason why we didn't address the problems that we have in our frontline prior to the start of the season....We all knew that we needed a big man....

I wish I had your outlook on things lol.

After that terrible Boston game, I don't think anything good will happen to this team this season.

Seems like they just gave up. Then again, they usually come out and play hard after a bad loss, even if they loose.

I hope we loose the easy games, we have to get to like 20 games before the easy strech that we have at the end of the year ruins out lottery pick.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

Right now the Knicks going on a winning streak would be soo cruel to fans. We have already accepted our fate this season and the only thing that would make us happy about the season would be getting a top pick and drafting Bogut. What great can come of defeating a team like Charlotte, especially when they are down? What a difference will make that they go on a winning streak now? I don't want to see this team in the playoffs getting swept and going to the draft without any real hope of a better future. This team lacks many things, but Im really confident that we will get one on draft night, a center for the present and future. I don't really want to see this team on a winning streak again. It would be too Knicks style: we don't win enough to get to the playoffs, don't lose enough to get a high draft pick. No, I want to see them fight every game but not winning. Its the best for the team. No other way to look at it...

I'm usually not a fan of quoting an entire post (especially if it's fairly long), but I was trying to just pick one part to agree with, and I couldn't find one. I agree with every single thing you said here.

If you've been mediocre for as long as these Knicks have, trying to make the playoffs just to lose in the first round simply doesn't make sense anymore.

Give me something to look forward to...a nice draft would do the trick.

That's true, I guess I wouldn't mind if they lost every game if they actually tried hard. It's just that losing tends to instill a certain negative attitude with the entire team and tends to turn promising young players into lazy bums. It also tends to make you care less about giving maximum effort each game since you have nothing to look forward to.

when I look at the players Isiah has drafted in the past w/ his lottery picks and even his late #s its paramount that we get a high pick. Isiah did a good job in Tor and while Walsh drafted in Indy Isiah openly lobbied for Tinsley and Fred Jones... two VERY solid late #1s.

He obviously did a great job w/ Ariza on short notice. Hopefully with a year to scout these guys he opts for buying late #s to build the roster rather the Brewer/Sundov/Bakers of the league.

I agree, I too believe in Isiah's ability to draft good talents. That is why it is important to trade old assets like Kurt and others for draft picks.....Isiah needs to get on the ball. Enough with the losing already

The streak will continue tonight....AI Vs Starburry is going to be the matchup to look for. I am happy that Tinny Timmy banked that shot last night, perhaps that will help his confidence a little more. The Knicks will play as a unit tonight. We will fall behind in the first half, but will come out in the second half blazing and win the second half. They will finally realize that the second half of games is what matters........Look for them to turn it on....
