I hate this I really do, but I do hope we drop at least 4 of the next 5. Its imperitive that management realize we have ZERO ZILCH NADA chance of making the postseason this year. Heck, we are the 6th worst team in the NBA right now.

Hearing things like Houston being back 100%, watching KT play 40 minutes, Marbury among the top 5 in minutes played... these things still point to management thinking in the wrong direction.

Shut Houston down for the year. Deal either KT or Nazr and get an extra pick back. Get Sweetney 30 minutes a night. Keep Marbury to 35 minutes a night. Get Crawford time at PG. Sign Jamal Sampson... these are the things that can be done before.

I understand 100% that Herb HAS to say things like "its been done before" in regards to still making the playoffs. Heck, I sat in sec 309 for the Heat game. The tix were a gift (still wont spend my own $$ on these guys). But the face value of the seat was $74 and there's only one set of seats further away. I understand the BS that comes from the front office... part of their job is the business side as well. Thats OK, but dont subject me to 5 extra wins with 40 minutes of KT and Marbury every night when thats only going to be the difference between a shot a Bogut vs. Warrick.

I agree wholeheartedly! I don't mind that they claim they still have chance at making the playoffs but don't play the guys who are not part of the future for 40mins a night. This better change after the deadline. Hopefully Kurt can keep up this good stretch til then because at 12pts and 10rebs his value will be at it's peak.

either trade Nazr now or in the offseason or resign him at a good cost(to be a backup center NOT the starting center they think he is) If Nazr averaged 11pts & 8rebs and 2BLKS and played defense then you would be able oto get by with him as your starting center. He has to many holes in his game which is why from the start I've said he's a great backup center but not a starter.

and of course trade Tt & Penny by next year's trading deadline.

we are in good shape for the future epecially after Houston's contract becomes valuable in 2yrs.

They have to forget about the playoffs this year and get younger. They will make a lot more money that way then having a team of overpaid injury riddled vets who can't even make the playoffs and win 30games a year.

Good posts, I gotta agree with both of you.
I just have a question for everyone around here. In terms of the worst records in the league, where do you think we finally end up?
Milwaukee just passed us, so the other teams with worse records are:
Utah (17-33) 2 games behind us
Golden State (14-36) 5 games behind us
Charolette (10-37) 7.5 games behind us
Atlanta (10-38) 8 games behind us
New Orleans (10-40) 9 games behind us

I would be surprised if Utah didn't pass us, and if things keep going like they have been, even Golden State will. Atlanta, Cha, and NO at first appeared to have the worst 3 records locked, and still do, but with things changing so dramatically, think there's any realistic thoughts of them passing us?

we have no chance at a top 4 position I dont think. GS, Atl, Cha and NO are just too bad. However 5-6 is realistic. We are right around Utah, Mil, and all the teams in the East. Its important that we dont fall to 9-10 because we get 4 extra wins and Port, Clippers, Tor... teams like that dont fall below us.
