10 games: 27.5 mpg, 10.8 PPG, 3.8 RPG. I think that's awesome for a 19 year old. He's inconsistent but he's had a number of really impressive performances. It's scary to think that a year ago he was putting up only 11 PPG in the NCAA and now he's putting up the same scoring in the NBA. I think he's easily passed Jamal and Mike as the young Knick that I'm the most excited about.

Ariza is getting buy on his pure athletic ability. He has to develop his handle more and definately get stronger. He keeps getting taken out when he goes to the rim. He's like the 2005 version of Plastic man. That was taken so maybe we can call him Mr. Fantastic, lol. His body gets twisted and bent around like Gumby sometimes.
Plastic man? Mr. Fantastic? Gumby?
I love the kid though. He's gonna be something special.
He has great size and length too so with a little more muscle I'd like to see him in the post sometimes. Work on his inside scoring and finishing. Right now he is just a dunker but otherwise will throw up prayers when he drives to the hoop.
I hope He stays the starter.....with Nazr down maybe Sweets will get his chance too.

You just have to love the effort. After every shot attempt, offense or defense, what do you see? Ariza flying to the basket to grab the rebound. Too bad it doesn't seem to be rubbing off on anyone else.
