That guy Joe Graham you talked about. I saw him on espn a couple of times. He has great size, very athletic, and can shoot. He would be a good pickup if you could buy another pick mid to late. "he can bench press over 400 pounds"
Actually I'm a little surprised he doesnt get more publicity. When I think reasonably, he will be a lottery pick for sure, no matter what mock drafts say. This guy is a serious player with supreme atheltsicm and power to go along with very nice skills on both sides of the court. He's definitely an option for a pick if we drop to like 9-12, OR would be an option if we traded a higher pick--say 6 for something like 12-17-32 for instance. He is the exact opposite of TT, hes tough, he plays vicious D and NO one in the league will push him around, hes a real tough guy.
It would be beutiful if we somehow did get that top pick and were able to pcik up Grahama with a trade and possibly buy a late one and early two to fill out some pieces on the bench.
I would say the ultimate possibilities staying within a realm of reality is
pick 1 Bogut
pick 16 Graham
pick 24 Louis Williams
pick 32 Torin Francis
pick 51 Deng Gai
Trade Sweetney T Thomas a future 1 Vin Baker and Norris
for Zach Randolph and Derek Andersen
Sign Earl Watson to a 3 year 16mm $
That would leave us at
C Bogut 7-1 245
PF Randolph 6-9 255
SF Ariza 6-8 210
SG Crawford 6-5
PG Marbury 6-2 200
C Nazr 6-10 250
PF KT 6-9 235
SF Graham 6-7 225
SG Penny 6-7 215
PG Watson 6-1 190
Andersen
Francis
IR
L Williams
GaI
JYD
Houston-retired
No moves required after that--dont need draft picks or FA for a while
Go out and hire the best coach you can--doesnt have to be phil J, Nate McMillan would be fine and a lot less.
