41, 42, 46, 38, 41, 45, 45, 40, 41, 41, 42, 42, 41, 33, 38, 35, 37, 37, 48

those are his minutes since january 1st.

you can love him or hate him but he plays every night. and the numbers are only half the story. he pretty much has to run the entire offense most of the game. crawford, h20, and penny being hurt really put alot of pressure on steph. unreal.

getting a backup PG should be a high priority for isiah this offseason. marbury can not keep this up and still continue to play at this high a level.

you could just see him get completely exhausted tonight. i'm thinking we need to get a backup PG out of the nbdl right now just so we can keep marbury to 35 mins at the max. there's no point for him to play this many minutes every night.

I agree especially since this isn't our championship season. We dont want to burn him out before we get a good cast around him. Why didn't we pick up Carlos Arroyo? I can't figure that one out, it seemed like a no brainer to me.

We talk on this forum a lot about needing frontcourt help and we do need frontcourt help. But a smaller (but still very important) priority is getting a decent backup PG, which would enable Marbury to play closer to 36 mpg.

yea and this could be a reason why he sometimes misses key free throws down the strecth,he's extremely fatigued and his legs just arent there. Im not making excuses for him but it could be why
I wasn't born with enough middle fingers!!!

Fatigue could be a factor, he wasn't like this last season or the begining of this one. I still think its more mentral than anything.
