What about KT and TT for Ratliff and Patterson?

What about KT and TT for Ratliff and Patterson?

We give them some good guys... we get some tougher players. TT gives them cap space in one year too...

i don't think portland will take on longer deals for shorter ones.

kurt for patterson straight up or a future #2. that's the best deal for both teams.

KT only has one more year than Patterson. TT is done after next year. Ratliff was resigned for like 5 years $50mm... something like that. I'm not sure he's worth that. If I dont get Outlaw or Telfair or Portland's #1 back this trade isnt worth it to me.

I think if we trade Penny and TT for Ratliff, Derek Anderson and Patterson they would actually bite. They would have 2 huge expiring contracts this summer then another 2 huge contracts the following summer. This would be like Phoenix revisited.

We would have our Center and 2 undesirables. Is that price too steep for Theo? That is a lot of long contracts.

no no no... too many old guys with LONG deals. Cmon... I loved Ratliff when he was 27. Now he's overpaid. I would rather trade for Adonal Foyal and get GS's pick or something like that

Ha, funny you bring that up. I actually just made that move yesturday on Live 05 in my Dynasty. Of course, on the game, the pick ended up being #14, and the trade wasn't worth it with Foyle's new contract.
Real life, I could tolerate Foyle for that pick.

come on fish...Ratliff is a way better player than Foyle...i would definitely be OK w/this trade...it would get us the shotblocking presence we need along w/a gritty, tough perimeter defender as well...that would improve our team significantly in my view...neither of those guys are superstars, but in terms of overall team balance i think it helps us out...i'm so sick of soft & gazy TT i'd welcome just about any trade to get rid of him at this point.
