TRADE ACCEPTED

Due to New York and Portland being over the cap, the 15% trade rule is invoked. New York and Portland had to be no more than 115% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Portland wants to get rid of Miles so maybe we can get them to give us SAR. I think SAR would be the upgrade at PF we need (and get younger). Plus we dont get rid of any of our young players and he he has averaged 20 and 8 in his career. What do you guys think about this Line up.

We would have throw in at least a first rounders and there still isn't any guarantee they do it. Even then, they'd really have to want to get rid of Miles badly to take such a deal, but maybe they do. KT's contract is long, and he wont be happy playing behind Zach Randolph. Also SAR just had surgery on his elbow or something so most likely he will be out for a while and i don't see Zeke trading for him until the offseason.

Those guys would be great on our team though.

interesting trade.... If I were Isiah, I would be thinking on this one for a long time. No way would I include extra picks though, in fact, I may demand one (at least a second rounder).

It's a good deal for us. I don't know if Portland would do it though. We might have to take some of their unwanted contracts for another short contract.
