It was an easy game for Zalgiris, playing against TU/Rock in the Baltic League, so this was a good chance for Martynas Andriuskevicius to get some action. And the talanted big man took advantage, having 11 points, 7 rebounds and 6 blocks in just 19 minutes of playing time.

After getting their first loss in eight games, Zadar is back on the winning track, beating Partizan to lead the Adriatic League. Marko Banic did it again, scoring 24 points and adding 8 rebounds. For Partizan, Kosta Perovic had 14 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists, Uros Tripkovic scored 10 points while adding 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals, and Luka Bogdanovic extended his good play as of late with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists.

Drago Pasalic’s 17 points and 9 rebounds weren’t enough for Split to beat Red Star. Meanwhile, Hasan Rivzic helped Pivovarna Lasko to win over Hemofarm with 18 points, 2 rebounds and 2 steals.

The Adriatic League's scoring leader Marko Tomas added 26 points to his account, plus 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals, although Zagreb fell one point short of the victory against Bosna.

After some disciplinary issues with his coach that left him sidelined for some games, Ivan Koljevic is back on track. He managed to score 20 points, while missing just one free throw in the process, and leading Buducnost to the victory over Geoplin Slovan.

Huge scoring production for Andrei Komarovski in the Russian Superleague. He dropped 29 on Ural Great, adding 6 rebounds, but Samara couldn’t get away with the victory. Vladimir Veremeenko scored 14 points and grabbed 4 rebounds for Dynamo St. Petersburg in their comfortable win over Sibirtelekom. On the other hand, Dimitri Sokolov’s 11 points and 6 rebounds weren’t enough for Lokomotiv Rostov to beat Unics Kazan.

In the Greek League, Nikolaos Zissis led AEK to the victory over Olympia Exalco with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Meanwhile, Costas Vassiliadis’ 15 points and 5 rebounds were useless for PAOK against Aris.

In France, Thabo Sefolosha had 13 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals for Chalon in a very easy victory against Reims. In Belgium, Mirza Teletovic scored 16 points for Telindus Oostende to beat Vilvoorde.

i dont like the possibility of drafting any euros who can put up # in a lower league.

what i like when i see this, is the inside presence BLOCKS and REBOUNDS. and that is an exciting stat line. its almost impossible to speculate on someone you cant see, but if he can play anything like this--probably equated to mid major college, then of course a 7-3 man becomes a serious target adn possibly a premium pick. still so much to dechipher at this point. have to let things shuffle out.

He is supposed to be the next Sabonis, and according to the rumors he has been training with him.

If that is ture, this kid will be a monster.

Sabonis never played in the NBA in his prime. When he was in the prime of his career, this was a guy who was incredibly athletic at his size and all the skills that he later diplayed in the NBA.

If Sabnois ever played in the league during his haydays, he would be one of the dominating centers in it, if not one of the most dominant players.

We shoudl work this kid out and see what he can do, and how much of the Sabonis hype is ture, and how much of it is simply dut to him being from the same country.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

The one thing we SHOULD be is cautious though. As knicks fans we know all about those failed european projects, and should exercise extreme caution. We should also make sure if we draft this guy that he does not play in the olympics against vince carter to make sure he does not suffer traumatic issues afterwards
