I figured that a line of Kaman-Brand-TT is nice for them. Wilcox is has really cooled after a great 1st quarter of the season....I think he can pay center in the East, since he put up his big numbers as a center in the West....the CLips would prolly be better off because with Maggette and Brand and Simmons, TT would be what he is best, either a sixth man or a 3rd or fourth option...

We would have a lineup of (I would also LOVE to trade KT to Dallas for MArquis Daniels and Armstrong who is a FA at the end of the season)

Sweets
Ariza
Steph-Craw-Daniels (as a 3 guard rotation)

La would have

Kaman
Brand
Simmons-TT

If he gets rid of Brand, it defeinately won't be for anything we have.....Wilcox is a luxury that is totally displaced with Brand there...IMO

Maybe they want to see if TT works in their system better than Wilcox who is not too loved by coach dunleavy. They are either gonna give up Brand or Wilcox right? If they are gonna trade Brand, they can have anyone they want on our roster. If they want to give up Wilcox, they got a good trade here in TT and Kittles. Work?

TMS, the same logic you used for saying they don't need TT goes against them trading for Ariza, Wilcox is the 5th wheel in LA...Simmons and Maggette are swing men and TT can spell Beand at times if need be...

not really...TT is a high priced backup for Maggette...Ariza gives them a low priced option should they choose to trade Maggette or if he gets injured, same way Wilcox gives them a low priced backup now for Brand.

I was gonna say the same thing....

They lack depth behind Simmons....Simmons has been a pleasant suprise this year for them.....getting Timmy for a year could really help them. Kittles isn't in their plans anyway......Wilcox is a dunker right now. Brand and Kaman are a nice duo inside and Rebracca is also another good player on their bench.....Wilcox is expendable....once he got hurt they barely missed him.

I like this trade alot.

Still....there would have to be a KT or Nazr trade to follow this trade....probably to get depth at the 3(same position the trade is giving up)

Anyway you look at it it's a nice start to rebuilding. Knicks get another young 4 and they get to dump salary sooner.

Why this won't work. The Clips won't do this because Kittles is an expiring contract and Wilcox is a young cheap PF for now. TT still has 1 year left on his contract after this year. The only player I see us picking up from the Clips where Sterling might actually do would be Elton Brand for either TT or Penny with Sweetney and probably the Houston (JVG) 2nd rounder.

I'd give them TT or Penny, Sweets, a first and a second rounder. This would make our team complete. Kt as our 6th msn. We are good with brand and we could come out of the east.
