Five ankle surgeries could not stop Grant Hill from returning this season. After missing 281 games the past four years, Hill has been sidelined for just two this season. He's turned plenty of heads in the first three months, averaging a 18.8 PPG and shooting 51 percent from the floor. The former NCAA champion has registered 16 20-plus point games and has failed to score in double figures just one time.Wow

the grant hill story is a truly remarkable comeback in sports history.
i believe when grant was recovering from surgery a life threatening infection nearly took him out and while his wife was attending to his recovery she became very ill to the point that would've made most people quit.

i think this may be near the end of a best seller.....wait a sec, i may have overlooked a championship chapter. btw...duke just upset nc..

A coach cannot give a better compliment to a player as stated by stan van gundy.

better reading at twin cities.com, “hill goes 0 to all-star"

The return to the all-star platform, though, has less to do with Hill's numbers than his heart, a reward for an inspirational story.

"You cannot have a better role model for young people in this country," Miami Heat coach Stan Van Gundy said. "I'm happy as a parent to be able to say to my son and daughters, 'Be like this guy.' "

i have nothing but the utmost of respect for a player like Grant Hill

very remarkable stoy, to say the least

he has had his full share of injuries but he has actually worked hard to come back repeatedly, i'm sure h had to have feelings of wanting to give up here and there

you never hear about Hill smoking phlly blunts, being a cancer, being selfish or anything of that nature

one even gets the feeling that he didn't want to feel as if he had "stolen" money from the franchise

truly great guy

but i'd still hit his wife!
