Trade ID# 2231832 3 way deal with BOSTON trading Pierce, Googs & M.Stewart to NYK for TT (expiring contract), Nazr (expiring contract) & Sweets. Then ATL trades Toine Walker, Delk & Collier to NYK for Penny (expiring contract) & KT. We can reunite PP & Toine. Now with Marbury / JCroft / PP / Toine we should be able to make a run at the playoffs.

Boston's not gonna trade Pierce for our garbage players. And they already have a much better PF prospect in Jefferson than Sweetney

I agree, but has the rebuilding begun? Can the team rebuild around Sweetney/Ariza/JC? If yes, is Steph the right PG for this rebuilding phase?

Getting Pierce would NOT be a quick fix. He's an awesome player and he'll be awesome for many more years. It's not realistic to get him without giving up Marbury or a lottery pick, though.

I like that trade. I do believe that reuniting Pierce and Walker could be beneficial to a team...
