NYK trades KT & Jerome Williams to the T-WOLVES for "The Mayor" Fred Hoiberg, Ervin Johnson & Kandi !! REASONS; T_WOLVES would love to add some front line offense ( KT ) & some front line defense ( JYD ) while we get expiring contracts !! Trade ID # is 2230469 !! That to me is a coo for us !! Now we have expiring contracts galore to play with !! ( HOIBERG / KANDI / ERVIN JOHNSON / TT / SUNDOV / BREWER / PENNY / NAZER / VIN BAKER !! Can you say........ GO ISIAH GO !!

First of all, chill dude!

Second, I like that trade, but thats a total tank trade and we would need to get a No 1 with it for it to make sense.
Also, I know that Minny hate Kandi right now, but im not so sure that they would want to add this much payroll.

But with a No 1, sign me up

I was talking about the Knicks picks being higher after trading KT and JYD because we would lose more. I dont think Minnesota has picks after that whole Joe Smith fiasco.

This will be the first year in awhile that Minny has a first round pick.

Minny's 1st round pick will be in the late 20's at best.

I think you're forgetting how much Minnesota is struggling. If the season ended right now, they'd have a *lottery* pick. They're 9th in the west.

i don't project them finishing the season that way this year...even if they squeak into the playoffs at the #8 seed i think they have what it takes to advance to the late rounds.

That's fine, but I was replying to your comment that their pick would be late 20s at best. They'd have to basically go undefeated for the rest of the season for their pick to be in the late 20s.

when i say they'll make it to the late rounds, that means they'll finish w/a pick in the late 20's at best.,..the season doesn't end tomorrow.

I thought the draft order was based on regular season only record.

not in the NBA. there's a 13 team lottery so you can have 13th worst record and still get the #1 pick. But your chances aren't great. t's best to have one of the 5 worst records. Then you have a great shot at the #1 pick.

How far you go in the playoffs is irrelevant to your draft pick. You can win the championship and also have the best pick (which would be #16 overall) out of any playoff team if you had the worst regular season record.
