They do everything awesome last night but uncharacteristically miss 50% of their free throws.....

Something is going on.....Someone put a hex on the Knicks.

If you think about it, with the direction this team is going, it's more of a blessing.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Cursed for two reasons: Kurt and Houston....Layden blessed us with that....

Here is another one, Marb has been cursed almost all of his pro career, could it be because he had sex with a couple of gay females????

in my eyes the curse started during the 97 series with the Heat after the Ward/Brown fiasco.

nevermind...i just remembered the Ewing finger roll and John Starks 2 for 18 game 7 of the finals versus Houston. and the Reggie Miller 8pts in 40 something seconds!

the only year things went our way was in 99 with "the shot" and the 4pt play. Even then Ewing and LJ were injured.

we are not cursed, we have just made some stupid moves in the past that we have to undo....Until we are able to move guys like Houston, we will never be able to compete...However, the easiest deal to do right now is Kurt...Please let him go

I think Isiah trading KVH set off this string of bad luck.......since then the Knicks have been just going through so terrible luck.

Houston went down, Timmy got hurt in the playoffs when the Knicks actually had a chance to win....it's been a snowball effect......

Every team in the league have gone through that at some point. Isiah just has make the right moves....Take a look at what we have right now and eliminate those who are not part of the long term plan....Keep Houston because later on his contract will be very attractive, and also because he is not a bad guy. Rid us of Kurt because he is an idiot and doesn't know his role. He thinks that he is a star, but he isn't..

A loss like the Kings loss does make you think of all the horrible luck we've had from Bernard King, to Charles Smith under the basket, to 2 for 18, to Ewing's fingerroll, to Reggie's 8 pts in 13 seconds, to the Miami fight and Ewing wandering off the bench, to Ewing's wrist injury, to being injured in the one great season we've had lately ('99), to passing on Artest, to the Ewing trade, to the Glen Rice trade, to the Houston extension, to the Camby injuries, to the Camby/Nene trade, to the McDyess injury, to anything else Layden did.

I mean, a lot of it is due to dumb moves and bad play too. But when you look back at this franchise's history since Willis hobbled onto the floor, it's no wonder that people see Isiah coming as some sort of savior. It's one of the first good moves they made since bringing in Riley (JVG was an extension of Riley in my mind). Gah! What an awful season. Watching Josh Boone play for UConn right now, I hope we can draft this kid and start turn around. I think we all deserve it at this rate.

Hopefully.....I feel bad for Marbs though he's 28 now....if the Knicks use the draft to get better then Marbs needs to get to a team that is ready to win now.....maybe the Clippers.

I think all NY sports are cursed really, maybe with the exception of the Yanks, and they got it bad last time around.

Take you pick, Knicks, Rangers, Mets, Giants, Jets, Isles, Yankees more recently, you can even put the Nets in there since they are basically in the area and moving in to the city.

Meanwhile goddamn boston teams win everything these days lol.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?
