would you rather the team lose out, and at this point, would need a tremendous amount of luck to finish in the top 3 in the draft OR go on a crazy streak and go 27-10 to finish out the season, win the division and advance to the 2nd round?

there are pros and cons but here are the big ones:

1. by going on a streak, you give up a 5-8 pick (possibly top 5)
2. by going on a streak, you vastly improve the value of the players and still have all the same ways to upgrade except now, you're picking at 15-18 instead of 5-8.

let's say the #1 pick is out of question and we finish at 5-8 in the draft, which would you rather see happen?

is there a guy in the 5-8 range that's significanly better than one in the 15-18 range? unless bogut is a lock, who else would dramatically improve us at #5 than at #15?

no thats the reason I want a top 5 pick not another #9 pick who has to wait 3 years just to get 20mins a game. i'm getting too old for this.

must you harass me with these questions that make me pull my hair out in order to answer? AAARRRRRGH!!! i don't know what i'd prefer to be honest...if we lost out & ended up w/a high lottery pick, i'd be perfectly happy w/that...on the other hand, if this team went on a long winning streak, i find it hard to believe i wouldn't be jumping in my chair rooting them on either.

Unlike some people here, I'm not gonna wet my pants over the possibility of getting the 8th pick in a weak draft. A nice winning streak, third seed, 2nd round of the playoffs, and something to build on would be nice (followed by intelligent use of our expiring contracts and other trade assets over the offseason). I don't expect that, though.

Define tremendous amount of luck?

We know boast the 7th worst record and with more games like tonight, we'll surely pass Utah and the Bucks.

David Stern will have to show mercy and put our envelop into deep freeze...
lose out or go on a crazy streak?
