As good as he already is, Crawford is also a highly coachable player with a profound awareness of a need to improve. "Look, I only played for two years in high school," he says. "I got ways to go. Especially in the area of shot selection, I just need more experience. I've got to have a better feeling for the time and situation on the floor."

Thats kinda crazy. He only played 2 yrs in highschool and only had 1 yr of college ball. As well as missed basically all of his sophmore season other than 23games because of a knee injury??

I dont mind having patience with Craw, Ariza and Sweetney. As long as I see improvement, I wouldnt feel like bitching at all. What I am starting to wonder is whether Stephon is the right PG to be playing with these guys!?

Never mind he started playing ball at 2 unless thats a miss print for 12. Actually it gotta be a miss print. 2 is kind to young

No misprint here... he was saying that he didnt start playing organized basketball until his junior year of highschool.

After reading stuff like that it just makes me wonder about these Knicks.....

Sweets can't stay out of foul trouble, Ariza has nice skills but they aren't pro ready......add this to what we know about Craw and it's kind of no suprise why the Knicks are in this much trouble.

Isiah said this draft is important......Maybe the plan is to keep adding young talent and just wait for Timmy, Penny and Baker to go off into the sunset.

good read, but these knicks.com articles are always biased. Anyone notice vin baker always happens to make a cameo appearance in ALL of them?
