TRADE ACCEPTED
I know its a big one, but hear me out for a second.
This trade, I feel is exellent for all involved. It saves Indiana money, It gets rid of a nutcase AND most importantly, on a player-for-player basis, they are getting the better players.
Crawford for Jackson - they win easy.
Nazr for Foster - same as above
TT for Croshere and Artest - they save a ton of money, get rid of Artest plus they get a stop-gap player in TT till he's a valuable expiring contract next year, (which they might be able to use to get Stojakovic who wants out big time). Besides, on their team, they could start Crawford and Bender, with Reggie and TT on the bench. Craw provides more scoring, and Bender would provide the defense and rebounding (at 7 ft he shouldnt have a problem there).
Sweets for Harrison - Sweets is much further ahead development-wise then Harrison, and they could play JOneal at C with Sweets at PF.
On our side, we're tanking this season, we can start Harrison and try and speed up his development for next year, and for next year Croshere is a nice player to have on the bench, and Jackson gives us some D. Plus we can start Ariza for the rest of the season as well.
Seriously, I think this is a pretty good trade for all involved. What do you guys think?
Some men see things as they are and ask why. I dream things that never were and ask why not?
