Not THAT Ewing, Daniel Ewing. I've seen him listed on quite a few draft boards as being available in the second round. Any objections to using our second round pick on him? I like the way he plays, and he's a good shooter, which this team lacks. Also, he would be an instant fan favorite. Just a thought...

As for first round pick, we're falling into Taft/Bogut/Boone range at this point.

I'd love that.. they really say he's going 2nd round? I think that would be a huge steal in the 2nd round. That would definitely solidify our backup PG spot. It's not just his offense either.. he's athletic and a very good defender.

NBA Draft (http://www.nbadraft.net) has Daniel Ewing (I refuse to call him just Ewing) going #15 to Indiana. I suspect that he goes somewhere around there but there is no way IMO he falls to the second round.

Draftcity.com has him going 45th overall, and right not Houston has the 43rd pick (which is our second round pick). I have a feeling he'll actually go somewhere more like late first round, but he will fall because he's an undersized SG, though I have to say he's reminiscent of Ben Gordon (not quite as explosive). If we could trade with San Antonio and get their first round pick, I'd like to get him or Jarret Jack.

Is that Patrick Ewing's son? I thought his son was a PF, not an SG, though, but I don't pay much attention to college ball

Yeah, Patrick Ewings son is a PF. I don't know his name though. Is he good enough to be in the NBA?

His son, Pat Ewing Jr is a sophomore at Indiana - THE Indiana... he's having a few nice games off the bench this year, but definitely not ready for the NBA, and may well never be
