New York trades:
PG Stephon Marbury (20.0 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 8.2 apg in 39.6 minutes)
C Nazr Mohammed (11.8 ppg, 8.7 rpg, 0.5 apg in 29.7 minutes)
2nd Round Pick

New York receives:
SG Kerry Kittles (6.3 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 1.8 apg in 22.1 minutes)
SG Corey Maggette (21.1 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 3.3 apg in 36.7 minutes)
PF Chris Wilcox (9.8 ppg, 5.0 rpg, 0.8 apg in 22.8 minutes)
Change in team outlook: +5.4 ppg, +2.0 rpg, and -2.8 apg.

L.A. Clippers trades:
SG Kerry Kittles (6.3 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 1.8 apg in 22.1 minutes)
SG Corey Maggette (21.1 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 3.3 apg in 36.7 minutes)
PF Chris Wilcox (9.8 ppg, 5.0 rpg, 0.8 apg in 22.8 minutes)

L.A. Clippers receives:
PG Stephon Marbury (20.0 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 8.2 apg in 39.6 minutes)
C Nazr Mohammed (11.8 ppg, 8.7 rpg, 0.5 apg in 29.7 minutes)
2nd Round Pick
Change in team outlook: -5.4 ppg, -2.0 rpg, and +2.8 apg.

TRADE ACCEPTED

The trade works salary wise and the Knicks get their atheletic C/PF. The Clippers get Marbury, and Nazr, which would give them a deep frontcourt, and they get the 2nd Rounder

Knicks lineup
C Wilcox/KT/Sweetney
PF Wilcox/JYD/KT/Sweetney
SF Ariza/JYD/Wilcox/Penny
SG Crawford/Maggette/Penny
PG Crawford/Moochie/Brewer
What's Defense?

Personally, I'm not comfortable enough with Crawford running the point yet to make this trade. I just assume see what improvements we can do with the draft and expiring contracts this summer before we make any big deals.

he can handle the ball better than Marbury but he passing and driving is a question, you still have moochie and can move crawford to SG and Corey to SF

Moochie is worse then Eisley.

I don't like to make definitive statements about most players because they can change but I'll make an exception in this case - CRAWFORD will never ever be a good point guard!

from what I have seen Craw is a ball-handling genius, but he not the best decision maker with the ball in his hands.

can he grow, learn and change? sure, but I don't think he is a PG who can run the team for at least another 2 years.

You're more optimistic then me. I hope you're right. I personally hope he can play with enough control to be a decent two guard in two years.

I agree but I think he's playing flawlessly during this good stretch he's on. His assists are up, he's making good passes, and not only is he hitting his shots he is taking it to the hoop A LOT MORE! He's playing a heck of a lot better than Marbury is right now. I have confidence in him hitting a big shot. Marbury driving and missing layups is in the 4th quarter has really killed us all season long. In the final seconds of a game I want Marbury penetrating and kicking it out to Jamal.

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.
