This guy is a waist of height and size. Along with TT, Allan, and Nazy, these guy's are petrified of CONTACT. I don't think I ever seen a bunch of players on one team that clearly can not defend for more then one or two plays.

he boxes out on the boards, something neither Nazr or KT do anymore...Baker is the least of our problems...we have KT, Nazr & Sweetney allowing penetration at will into the lane w/o anyone being knocked down on their ass...that is disgraceful.

Ive actually seen Vin make a few athletic plays and blocks. Thing is once he catches the ball in the post it takes him about a year to go into his move. By that time the ball's been stripped and the other team has a dunk in transition. Vin looks at his hands and wants to yell at a ref but they are all down the other end watching the action

Nazr and KT are not our problems in defense. Our guards who shall remain nameless (Starbury and Jamal) has no concept of perimeter defense 101. Stay in fron of your guy! Fight through picks. I guess that's why we love Starks so much. Yes, he was flawed. Yes, Jamal and Starbury are more dynamic offensive players, but dang! Starks sure can lock you down.

they sure are our problems on defense, because when you have 2 weak defending perimeter G's who score alot in Jamal & Marbury, you NEED defensive minded players in your front court.

i completely agree w/u about Starks...he is my alltime favorite Knick...but neither Marbury nor Jamal are that type of player...we need a physical shotblocking intimidator in the paint BAD!

How do you explain KTs 9+ boards a game? He isn't doing it on athletic ability.

it is the frontcourts fault for allowing constant easy layups and dunks. They just stand around. Either blovk the shot or put guys on their backs!

The thing that bugs me is when I'm watching a guy on the other team drive to the basket. I look up and see Kurt doing the same thing as me...just watching. I'd rather see a foul and some effort than the easy two.

yeah I see that all the time. I don't think Kurt defenders pay attention to that. They are too busy waiting for Marbury and Crawford to make a mistake.

watch a game once in a while & tell me if you see KT boxing out on a regular basis...people don't come flying in for offensive rebounds if KT & Nazr are doing their job boxing out on the boards.

The problem is Vin in not a center. If he was playing the pf he would able to play his game. He can do the same thing Kurt does. Hit the open jump shot. To be honest he can play well in the box. This team is wasting their time pretending Vin is a center when he is not.
