Geez talk about terrible fans, we're going through a tough stretch right now but I would NEVER walk away from this team. I am a true die-hard Knick fan and I will still support them till the day i die (even in really tough times) so you people who cant wait for the Brooklyn Nets can F.UCK OFF

I may not be one of them but if a new team dropped into my borough and the Knicks were as bad as they are now I would have to check them out. At least your rooting for a hometown team.

Yeah man, being from Brooklyn myself, its not like the Knicks ever treat there fans right you know.

So if a team that actually cares about winning and cares about its fans comes along, then you know what, f@ck the Knicks and there money grubbing, don't care about winning ownership.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

ok relax, your worrying about what other fans do? wow talk about no life, what is the matter with you? Anyway, fact of the matter is NY has never been given a choice in basketball. I guess those Mets fans are just awful for not liking the Yankees, and those traitor Jets fans how dare they not like the Giants, give me a break, you sound rediculous. NY is finally going to have a choice, somewhere else to turn and you make it sound like its against the law, let people like who they like, and I hate to break it to you but with a guy like J-Kidd running the show and exciting all stars potentially superstars like Richard Jefferson and Vince Carter there is probably alot of New Yorkers who can't wait for the Brooklyn Nets and how can you blame them when our most exciting player is Ariza.

I would never support another pro basketball team in NY - I dont care if they win 10 championships in a row. The Knicks are NY's team, and yes they are struggling but u have to support or else u are a fairweather fan who shouldnt be watching sports.

I agree. I lived 20 mins from Continental all through those years when they were winning! You guys are f***ing ***** if you think about switching to being Net fans cause they are from your town! But you know what, you have every right to save yourself the heartache. Become net fans! The Knick Fandom will be fine without anyone that wants to leave.

Knick fan for life knick fan to death

thats why i want the best for the knicks and I know this cast of characters are so far away from what would be considered a championship squad, its not even close.
we have to bite the bullet a bit and get lucky, its that way for almost EVERY franchise.

I would be happy to be patient, if I saw a credible plan in progress. Bringing in soft, low character overpaid streetballers who dont play D, dont appear to get along tht are directed by a hot-headed, quick trigger used car salesman.
A fan who really likes the Knicks has heard isiah lie or fib numerous times alredy. I think character starts at the top and trickles down and Isiah's character is questionable/

NYK3 I agree with you 100%
Knick fan for life, I don't care if we get another team that literally moves into MY town that dominates the league for years. Even if the Knicks are like this for the next ten years, it makes no difference.

Lets be honest with ourselves, if the nets played in NY you but were still cosidered a NJ team we would still root for them.

Im a die hard Green Bay fan, but I also root for the Jets and Giants ( who reside in nj) when there winning.

Not at all. The Nets to me, regardless of where they relocate, are like the Yankees and the Mets. Both from New York, but you're either with one or the other. And rooting for a team when they're winning = cheap bandwagon fans.

The thing is, its not that you shold not switch teams, you can't.

You can't just say to yourelf one morning, thats it, I'm not a Knick fan anymore, I'm a Brooklyn Net fan

It doesnt work like that. You pick a team at soem point, and it becoems your team. Even if you claim that it is not anymore, deep down you will still root for them.

I wish I was not a Knick fan sometiems, cause they suck, and abuse there fans with bs that only gets them money, as they don't care about winning, but I can't just switch.

I'd alwasy be a Knick fan, no matter what I would try to convince myself of otherwise.

Its a shame I became a Knick fan in the place lol.

I can only love one team, but when my Giants are unwatchable I do root for and watch the Jets. Simply because I want to watch football. I can watch other baseball teams, and I'm a Yankee season ticket holder. As for he Knicks... what can I say. I love basketball but this team has been unwatchable the last few years. I havent rooted for another team though. I pulled for the sixers a few years ago because of Iverson and nobody in the NBA plays with more fire and heart than he does.

I tend to root for certain players when they play, rather than other teams. Iverson, Yao, Van Exel, Grant Hill and Brad Miller to name a few..

cant imagine how many ranger fans made the crossover when isles made their 1971 debut while delivering 3 stanley cups in a 12 year period. rangers pressed to deliver their next stanley in little more than half a century. i would think knicks plan a championship before the next 20 years expire.

I don't have a problem rooting for the Mets, Jets or even the devils but I will never root for the Nets. I hste the Nets!! Maybe I will 10 years from now after all their current players are gone. I can't stand richard jefferson, Collins and Kmart, luckily he's already gone. They were so arrognant along with their fans when theyb didn't even accomplish anything. They got embarassed both times in the finals because they had only 3 good players and a bunch of scrubs. God I hate that team!
