why freaking not???? We need to at least give a chance to one of the good boys in the league...This dude is dying to get a chance. He is everything that Kurt needs to be. Why not go after this dude???? We can even offer them a second round pick in return....Paterson and SAR...

NO to SAR... we don't need another jump shooting PF who can't play D... plus, he is another LOSER, never had a winning season

Sweetney was drawing double teams down low last night... if only we had some perimeter players that played with heart, and proper spacing

I am not saying no to Sweetn at PF at all. In fact, I believe that he is the answer at that position...the problem is that Isiah and the headcoaches are too dumb to realize that Sweetn is a definite upgrade over Kurt...I have a feeling if Amare was a Knicks when he entered the league, he would have been a backup to Kurt right now....HOw can Sweet be effective when Kurt is playing 42 minutes per game, or when Kurt is allow to shoot the ball at will????? this is absurd, if you ask me.....

I don't hate Kurt, I hate the fact that Isiah and the coaches can't see that He is hurting this team...I could care less about the points and rebounds that he brings. The fact that when he is on the court, he can't guard his position and help improve our help D, or have no postup game, is definitely a minus....

I am willing to use what I have minus Kurt....We are losing any damn way, why not play Sweetn and let him become battle tested? isn't he the future after all?????

for the season, Kurt (our STARTING PF) has only been to the charity line 51 times, that is after playing 1,647 minutes. 436 boards

41-51

Sweet 675 minutes, she has been to the line 123 times. Tell me something? am I the only one who values fouls on the opponent big men??? 186 boards

Amare would be on the bench while Kurt Thomas starts otherwise kurt thomas would bitch all day until he is traded.

look man, no one is going to argue stat by stat with you. Anyone with half a brain can turn any stat into their own arguement.

If Sweets were better defensively, or at least solid in that department, he would start. But he is not. He can't hold his own agaist the other teams' benches. And it's just not about 1-on-1 D, team D too. And fouls. If Sweets starts and gets 3 fouls within the first quarter, which is VERY realistic, the team gets into a further hole because of free throw thing. And he SUCKS at help D, which puts even MORE pressure on everyone elses D.

Why isn't Sweets earning the starting position.

Oh, and the Knicks' organization want to pump up KT's value to trade him. So he is going to start.

This is just my observation but when Sweetney gets consistant minutes he doesn't get into foul trouble because he becomes more comfortable. Remember Kurt's foul woes?! I think it got to the point with Kurt that everyone was so pissed at him for fouling so much that now he refuses to which is why he lets everyone go right around him without moving his feet at all.

Getting into foul trouble is not a bad thing...Guys tend to learn from that. He is a must in our lineup. The boy should have been the starter since the beginning of the season, but Lenny failed to let that happen...We can't afford to have Sweet rotten on the bench like Layden did....Kurt is garbage, and the whole world knows it....Screw him, sent him to the Clippers...
