ESPN radio reports head coach of the Lakers, Rudy Tomjanovich, will announce his resignation after tonight's Laker game due to combined reasons of disappointing performance by the team along w/health reasons.

I was surprised that Rudy even took the job in the first place- he stepped down from the rockets for health/personal resons

Yea I had the pleasure of reading that book... if you don't at least dislike Kobe a little bit after reading that book then something is wrong with you. Phil made it very clear that he hates Kobe.

Isiah has to go hard after Phil Jackson this offseason. Though, I wouldn't be surprised if he went back to the Lakers. Kobe and Phil can play make up. Phil will love Lamar Odom. He's also high on Mihm, according to ESPN.

When you look at the talent level of the Lakers, who aren't that good, you realize how bad the Knicks roster truly is.

I hate to say it but I could see Phil going back there - doesnt he still date the owners daughter? He has ties to that organization and their roster isnt THAT bad.

Why would he come to NY? We are in the middle of rebuilding (and its gonna take a while to get out of this hole).

Bottom line, it hurts to be an NY fan right now.
