Phil Jackson told reporters that he would like to be the coach of the Knicks. I think Jackson would be a good fit for NY, he has won 9 NBA championships, 6 with the bulls and 3 with the Lakers. Jackson could have a similiar team to his lakers, a good small guy (crawford or marbury) and a possible good big guy depending on how Issiah makes his moves, and in about a year look out for Sweetney and Ariza although he might need about 2 or 3. I think the Knicks pursue Jackson, although it will be a while untl he will sign.

He didnt say he wanted to coach the Knicks, he said he would listen if the Knicks came knocking - and nothing more. He also stated he doesnt have the desire to coach right now - AKA get a better roster then call me.
