How do you all feel about Paul Pierce as a Knicks?????

He is a great player. If Isiah pursued Carter, why not Pierce???? in my opinion, he is a far better player than Carter...

a lineup of:

Marb
Crawf
Pierce
Sweet
Nazr for now

could be pretty good


Pierce is a second half type of player, he could definitely help the problems that our Knicks have had so far..

Personally, I think that we need to pursue him. However, I believe that Isiah stayed away because he knows that Ainge is a preack and will never deal with him...

Boston thinks Pierce is better than Marbury. How do u plan on getting Pierce on our team? Surely you are not suggesting they will trade Pierce for just expiring contracts are you?

I don't know man, it is just a question. He and Ainge are not getting along, and he and the coach are having problems also.....There is no telling what Ainge may want to do. He has the young kid that he thinks can easily replace Pierce, so why not take a chance??? We went after Kobe, why not Paul p?????

all of the recent reports and evidence that he is a selfish, single minded player have made me have second thoughts about him. A few years ago, I really thought he was an up and coming star, and most people thought that because they thought he was going to continue growing. Well look at the stats post-antoine: instead of stepping up, he is sleep walking his way to 20 points, often on sub 40% shooting, while complaining about the new system doc rivers has installed.
Vince benefited from a change in scenario, but who's to say PP will?
and plus we'd have to give up a hell of a lot for him.

if u can somehow get PP, keep craw and marbury - then get brown or zen in to coach - then something good might happen. But PP aint coming to NY.

i'd love3 it. Then we really only need players like Steven Hunter and Dan Gadzuric as our bigs.

Plus PP can post up too. We would be lethal offensively. I dont think he would be the best fit though. We would have 3 slashers. It would make more sense (chemistry wise) and financially to look for a spot up shooter at the 3 than a dominant player. Any really strong offensive player that comes to this team, realy needs to be 6-10 and better.

The guy is a talent, and we certainly need talent, but I think it means giving up on Reezy.

We would gave to give up somthing to get him,

And I think he is the low charactor-Low Iq player that we just don't need. He does not make those around him better.

I don't think we need "STARS" as much as we need to develope our own high level players, and become great players in our uniform.

Personally, I'd rather have Walker if we must take one of those idiots, at least he fits a need better.

I can apprciate the desire for a Paul Pierce talent, but I prefer we get players who fit togehter nice, and a Craw-Marbs-Pierce (assuming neither is traded)lineup just does not jell in my opinion.

Don't want pierce, we need some starting material big men, just look at last nights game, we lose again because we can't rebound and our big men let clowns like rebraca, miki moore and kaman go wild on the offensive boards.... I don't want another swingman now.. lets develop ariza, this kid is everything that is good about a developing player. lets do the right thing for once and let he and sweetney develop..

Pierce is one of the few guys I WOULD trade Marbury for, but I wouldn't go much further than Marbury.

Pierce is a gifted scorer.....he goes through double and triple teams like nothing when he's hot.

Danny would have to want to rebuild without Pierce and he is more likely to trade Pierce for a player in his calibur or a series of players he can use.....

The only way I can see him becoming a Knick is if Isiah takes back LaFrentz.....or some other bad contract for Penny and Timmy. That doesn't even sound right.....only if Danny is looking to really blow it up.

I love Pierce's game with a passion. He is too good.

Could Craw, Marbs and Pierce sucseed together?

I really would care who gets traded if the Knicks get Pierce.
