i bet they did that to cool the jets so to speak. there really isnt a prospect that is getting enough PT anywhere, whether it was Petro or M Andriv..... possibly only Tiaggo Splitter who has fallen back again to playing poorly--couldnt this wait until after the season for pre-draft workouts, actually knowing who will be there?

i just hope that when he returns he does whatever it takes to trade Kurt and nazr for young centers and draft picks

I think it will be hard to trade Kurt. He has been rumored to get traded for the longest and he has yet to be traded. If he gets traded I doubt it will be for some picks. Picks are as valueable as gold in todays nba.

there will be a lot of opportunities to get guys late. Ginobili was taken late, as was Jaric, Kristic and a slew of other guys. buying late #1s and grabbing a few of these guys even if they are staying over for another year is a good investment for us.

If going to Europe means he's given up on a stupid trade to try to stop the bleeding, I'm all for it. But, yeah, there isn't any good Euro talent this year.
