With his recent success in NJ, do you think we should have dumped KT, TT and Penny to get Jalen and Vince Carter?

I dont know, but right now he is playing like an all NBA 1st team SG and the nets, while short handed, are looking like they will win the division in the 2nd half. If I was Toronto, Id be asking for my money back. If Vince played hard like he is now, Toronto has more than enough to be 4-5 games over .500.
right now Im almost in shock that the nets stand .5 games in back of us and they havent exactly been on fire. and look what injury and other problems they had to endure! We have hd the same constant core--Nazr Marbury and Thomas EVERY game, probably 1 of only a few teams to have its starters together like that every game with more than enough so-called fringe players to win and we sckkkkkkkkkkkkk.

Im positive it starts with the frontcourt inconsistency.

i'm positive it starts with attitude, period. look at teams with hustle and good attitude (and talent). They win. We still have the talent to win. We have poor attitude and poor leadership.

Toronto did much better with the NJ deal than they would have with your proposed NY one. They're playing better ball without Vince than they were with him and they have those draft picks coming. He was simply not going to play hard for them and his stock had plummeted around the league. For Toronto it's addition by subtraction plus they have all those #1's to look forward to. I'd be plenty happy if I were them.

Isiah was right to try to get him, but only go so far.

nah there's more to it than that. Carter is just really hot. he's doing it by himself. he's chucking and they are going in

sure, he's a great player...but he's also very injury prone...from what the rumors were the Raptors were asking for too much from the Knicks to take that risk...i have always said the Knicks should go after him, but not at the price that was being reported when you consider he can go down to an injury at any time...we have enough guys on the IR.

Actually Carter hasn't been chucking at all. He's been playing team ball. Last couple games he's ben avg'ing 9 assists. And it looks like his gotten his explosiveness back. Cause he's driving to the hoop and just hanging in the air forever.
