Although they have suffered the worst loss of personell in the nba, i sense that they think they can win it, it appears as if they will sign elden Cambell to help out in the middle. Is it possible the Nets have the horses down the stretch to win it with vince and jay kidd playing well again? I think they do, I think they have a 7-8 game winning streak in them to catapult into 1st and then stick

this goes against what you initally thought. you said b/c of their frontcourt, they will be garbage. but it's all good, everyone is entitled to change their mind.
anybody can win the division. including us. it all depends who gets hot at the right time. if everyone hangs around by the allstar break, one of these teams will make a 2nd half run like miami did last year. it could be us, it could be the nets.

I don't know... IF they get Campbell, it could happen. I mean the Atlantic division is so wide open (like the Atlantic) it's comical. Compared to other divisions especially in the west, it's like bunche of midgets competeing in a league of giants...
I never thought I'd say this, but
Go Nets!

I said their frontcourt was crap too, but Krytic and Collins and even Scallibrene have been solid for them, so it's been enough to hold up. Thy wont come close to winning the east, but anybody in the atlantic can win the division.

Yes East is wide open. If Kidd and Vince are playing well and everyone else can approach mediocre they can do it. I agree with the other posters - whoever gets hot can do it theres so little talent in this division.
