no offense, but that was one of your 4 initial guesses. I do remember when they were 16-13 and beat Cle/Minn back to back you were pretty high on them winning 45 games yourself.

I personally thought 45 games was realistic, and before this collapse they were definatly on track for that. Injuries and bad play took over, and I'm not upset about. Hopefully Isiah falls in love w/ some of these players he's going to scout and gets us a couple extra picks.

I thought winning the division and making the playoffs would be a positive thing, but heading for lottery has its own advantages. Only downside is this draft looks very weak so far.

All depends on how long this free fall lasts.

I used to be 45 win guy, but that was before TT, Penny, and Hou went down. It was a reasonable assumption that these guys would play a lot more and a lot better than they have. Throw in Craw to the mix for a 5 game spot and you have their current record.

I now want only 10-15 more win this season and a lot of Ariza and Sweets. And a high draft pick. that's realistic.

when we were 3 games above, it looked like this team was only going up. When I attended the minny game @ msg, you could sense the enthusiasm and expectations that the fans watching had. It was hard at that time to sense that this team could even possibly lose 11 of 12 or whatever it is now. It really was. But the injury bug + chemistry problems can do that to ya. Not that the Knicks were giving 100% effort before the past few games anyways.

We need our boys to get healthy and for Marburry to start playing like he believs.....Defensively Marburry will have to set the tone...he needs to attack the opposite team's ballhandler and that along will allow our other players to be a little more effective on the other end as well. When I watch Marburry guarding the other PGs he doesn't do a good job defending at all, he needs to studdy how Payton G. plays defense and copy a page out of his game... Payton is exactly who Marburry needs to emulate as a PG, because Payton is a scoring PG just like Marb......but the only difference is that Payton plays both sides of the court....

Nah, no way. I don't know if we will get to 35.

I was wrong bout em all the way. I really thought that they could win 43-35 games. Ofcourse, I did not realize how bad TT was going to be, how much of a looser Marbury is, and how bad Lenny would coach after "he got a training camp".

Couple that with all the injuries, and you get what you get.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?
