he's obviously not injured. They just want to give Ariza a chance to grow. Take that all those who say the Knicks will never look towards the future

Good to hear...atleast 5 more games with JYD or Ariza starting.
Any word on who gets the start tonight?

i'm more considered about when will sweetney start. I'd give Ariza another chance. I think he's a better match up on Marion than JYD

Sweetney starting would be first priority, but I'll take what I can get. Just asking if there was an official word on whose starting.
I believe Marion plays PF for them and JJ plays SF.

you're right, Ariza is definitely starting on JJ. Ariza is another one of the players that Isiah will be judged positively on so he's gonna start. It still puzzles me why KT starts. My only guess is that they are trying to trade him and Sweetney won't start til after the trade deadline in late Feb

start or not start, if Sweets can get 30 minutes a game, I would be happy.

Our prayers are answered.......at least mine are.

I recall Tim Thomas being all gun-ho and arrogant about him suiting up tonight. Isiah obviously has had enough of the bullshyte.

One the Knicks get the guys out there that are willing to go hard then we will see what we truly have.

Then we can make trades.......mmmmmmwwwwahahahahahhhahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahaaaaaaaaa.......*

True.....very true.

Herb has always said in interviews during the summer and in little spots in the season how good he thinks Sweets can be....so maybe Herb will go to Sweets more often.

well, don't worry, Shawn Marion will get KT into serious foul trouble within a couple of minutes, then just like that, Sweetney will be in the game!

Sweetneys fouls could play a big part in this game. I don't like the Sweetney/Marion matchup.

That is gonna be a joke. I can't wait till the Knicks try to do the pick and roll with speed demon Marion right there in KT's face.

I'm telling you Sweetney needs to start and force them to switch up and put Amare on Sweets. I wanna see Sweets draw his fouls and take Amare out of it. Cuz I dunno how Pheonix can guard Sweets and Nazr at the same time. This game is very winnable if the Knicks slow it down and play their game....what ever that is.

If it's the same old Knicks this will hurt to watch......Or be like watching the Movie "Saw".......geez.

yeah that will be a major problem but so is Kurt on Marion. But Sweetney can at least abuse Marion on the offensive end. I think JYD is going to get a lot of minutes on Marion tonight.

For all the TT bashers: Is it a coincidence that the team has gone into a slide when he has been injured? I would be the first to say he has been less than adequate this year, but when JYD played for him, I think they won one game. We also have won one game since Marbury declared he was the best point guard in the league. Be careful what you wish for.... Ariza isn't ready.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

huh? I don't think it's a coincidence that the team was worse off with Houston limping and starting than with Crawford starting

thats what im sayin. he was blaming the losses on the injury to TT when in reality it is a blessing. The injury to crawford is the biggest reason we're 7 under .500. But crawford's game if back after tonight so I;m feeling good about beating teams lesser than the Suns like the Cavs.

Yes, I can safely say it is a coincidence. TT has brought one thing to the table this season...a struggling offense. As anyone with eyes can see with this team, offense is not the problem. Defense is, and I fail to see how bringing back another liability on that end will help us that much.

For that matter, what offense? He hasn't brought anything at
either end of the floor this year!
