TT & Nazr & a second rounder
for
Dale Davis, E. Najera & Troy Murphy


Golden State wants to clear Cap space and they clear a ****load next year with this. They also get another pick which can help them get another young player to play with dunleavy and jrich. They have their center in Nazzy, PF in Zarko, SF Dunleavy, SG Jrich, and PG DFIsh. Not bad.

We get Dale Davis who comes off the books this year but could probably help us somewhat after losing Nazr. Troy Murphy, a very special player who is a beast on the boards and can shoot from anywhere. E. Najera may see a few mintues at the 3 because we are weak there but who really cares about him.

Ariza
Sweets
Murphy

That could be a deadly team. Centers gotta come out and guard him which makes the paint even easier for #3 to Steph right into. We'd be undersized but still would snatch rebounds.


obviously KT still has to go and he could be packaged with penny to make something happen. I just thought it was interesting.

I like that trade a lot. But there no way GS do it.

Davis will give them big cap room this year, and Murphy's done nothing to prove that his contract isnt worth it. They probably rather keep the players they have, than try and clear space and hope to pick up someone else.

Besides, they have no need for TT at all!

But hey, Mullins is an idiot, so you never know.

Murphy's a better scorer and rebounder than Kurt, but his defense is equally bad. Still he's only 24. I think of Murphy more as a role player. I want to hold onto at least one of our two huge expiring contracts for the summer (either TT's or Penny's). I don't mind doing this trade if we hold onto Penny.

come on...try to think about why other teams would trade for a guy w/$24 million left on his contract who is about as soft & lazy as they come, much less give up a good young talented PF along w/an expiring contract.

That wasn't a bright statement. Murphy is a 16-11 player right now and only getting better with the season progressing. KT is a 11-9 player and only getting worse with the progression of the season. Stop the fandom right there and come to your senses. I respect your opinion but there is no need to be an extreme fan.

Murphy is not what we need. he's just a better Kurt Thomas. We need a center who can play defense also

Actually, I really think we should trade KT. I just think that we should becarefull to just not make rash moves. I like troy alot. I think the warriors are nuts to do that deal. TT is crap, Nazr is ok, and DD is an ending deal. If I am the warriors, I look at giving up an ending deal to get a good player, not take crap in return. Nazr is nice, but TT is expensive garbage. DD won't cost them much the balance of the year.


I guess I was wrong in saying KT is better, I really meant that he is more valuable to the team than some are giving him credit for. At times, its like he is pawned off any cost! Until a bonifide opportunity is present, should he be traded. Getting Troy, that would be a great deal! Even though Troy is white! LOL

TT can net us a bag of WOW! Chips with Olestra. Seriously, I think TT is a Knick till next year when his contract expires. I don't think anyone would actually want him right now. Unless you send him to Toronto for Rose.

even in the east we'd need a stronger presence in the middle than troy murphy. I don't believe he can play C very well for long stretches
