I'd gladly offer TT and take back Derek Anderson's bad contract. I really doubt that would be enough, though. They'd at least want Ariza. As much as I like Ariza, I'd do the deal because Miles is still very young and I love the intensity he plays with on both ends of the court. Guys who can give you a lot of steals and blocks are very rare. Portland looks like they're headed for another bad lottery season and might prefer the cap room (by getting rid of DA) and draft pick and Ariza.

I do not want him. Ariza will quite possibly surpass him skills-wise by next year. Ariza's downside is Darius Miles IMO. Ariza, could develop into what people say in DM, have a juimpshot, play great D, get steals rebounds, Plus Ariza ia already an above average passer at his stage. No way we take back a bad contract for a player who can't shoot and is very limited offensively. I really don't like DMiles.

He is like a shorter smaller Kmart. Not what we need. If we get a 3 he needs a jumpshot definitely, and some other skills to bring to the table. I'd rather Devean George, he's cheaper and if he doesn't perform, he comes off the books this year.

D-Miles is a great talent, when he has gotten playing time in portland he has played very well. He plays good defense and can block shots, isiah shoud go get him if he can.

Miles is an athletic guy with long arms who plays hard, but isn't a great ballhandler and can't shoot a jumpshot to save his life. What is it that you guys see that I am not seeing? And take back Derek Andersons contract? A shooting guard who 'lost' his ability to shoot? WTF?

to bad the cavs offered him for frank williams during franks highest moments with the knicks but IT declined then the cavs traded for Mcginnis.

Well Frank got us Jamal instead. I'd rather have Miles than Jamal, but it's not bad having gotten Jamal for just Frank and a few other non-impact-players either

we need a do-all versatile front court player. Someone athletic we can pair with Marbury. SAR fits the bill nicely. Jamison would have been great but we missed that boat when he left GS. Sheed would also have fit the bill very nicely, but none of those guys matter if you dont have Marbury in the first place.

Our best bet is to collect good players with reasonable contracts and draft well. Then you have the assets to package when one of these guys comes along.

MIles plays on another team. If we got him, he would be a dissapointment.

Reezy will be a much better player than Miles.

Activity is fun!

when i look at SAR, i see someone definitely not quick enough to be a SF, and just a tad slow to be PF. (not like sweets is a gazelle but his identity is his size to get easy shots) he looks to have a really good post up game and boards, but something is just a little "off" about him. i'm not sure what it is but there's something there.

same knock on Jamison.. look whats he done for Arenas. You get a front court player that can give you 20 every night on his own, and shoot for a very high FG%.

I'm not saying SAR is the answer but then you have a legit inside outside build for your team. Right now its all outside and it kills us.

SAR gives you 20 on the old vancouver grizzlies and atlanta hawks. jamison gives you 20 on the warriors and the Wizards.

SAR gives you 15 while starting on a good team and Jamison gives you 15 comming off the bench for Dallas of all teams!

i think Jamison is a lot better than SAR.

I wonder what Portland gets for SAR's expiring 14mil contract. he's a lot more productive than Penny/TT

I do not like Miles. We don't need another unskilled player on this team. We have Ariza who is 19.

I keep thinking there are several posters here who don't like Miles. Then I realize that it's just one poster (killa) replying each time!
