idk yet if i want 2 trade marbury, he truly is a great talent, but i was thinkin bout possible deals that coud work and this 1 2 me coud make some sense. the clippers need and want a point guard, look at how much they were apparantly offering 4 baron davis. marbury woud give them an entertaing pg, who will sell tickets and woud giv wilcox the chance 2 start. they woud come out of it w/a great young big 3. as 4 the knicks say the deal were marbruy 4 a 1st rd pick and brand, then they mite b getting a great deal. i think brand coud become the best pf in the east, he plays defense and woud make the knicks one of the few teams that in the east hav a true presence down low. this deal woud need 2 be backd up w/another 1 as the need 4 a pg woud become glaring but in a draft where there r so many we coud address it w/guys like felton, gilchrest, etc.. or mb make another deal, say mb 4 a guy like mo williams, or chris duhon.
not sure if i woud do it but wanted 2 c wat the opinions bout this deal woud be.

you'd have to give them more than marbury. Bigs are more important and they have similar contracts so its not like they are saving money

Isiah stays Marbury stays

It's amazing how so few people realize this. Marbury is Isiah's boy. They talked on the phone each night during the Olympics, and they probably talk a ton now. Marbury would have to do something absolutely TERRIBLE, or the Knicks would have to be offered someone like LEBRON (The Cavs would be on every drugs brought up to do that) in order for Isiah to trade him. It really might as well not be discussed. Here's an analogy.

Isiah is to Marbury

as

Layden is to Shanvis EisleysoonHorn.

lol, yea u are rite, im more talkin bout if ppl here woud do it. i dont think that isiah and steph are that tied at the hip when it comes 2 trading him, isiah woud do it, if the team after 2 yrs or so still hasnt come around, but yea hes not gonna rush any type of marbury trade. again the question was not if this trade will actually happen but more if people here woud do it.

No, you try to get Brand to play on the Knicks WITH Marbury. If you can't pull that off, then you just let Sweetney develop and look into some other young PFs who would cost less than Brand but still have nice upside.

If you going to trade Marbury we better get a point guard, and a forward, or some picks.

I wish I was a mod so I could lock these trade Steph threads. Marbs has a zero percent chance of being traded. Especially not for a 20 and 10 big on a team that just drafted Shaun Livingston. Why even discuss this?
