Someone is a little a picky today

Anyway, if Philedelphia came to me and said they wanted KT and Nazr for Dalembert, I'd do it. There is no reason not too. KT is as good as he'll get, and what exactly does Nazr have that Dalembert doesn't?
Block shots doesn't exaclty mean he plays defense or not, theres more to defense than blocking shots. Sure, blocking shots is good but if he can just change everyones shot I would rather have that than a few blocks. Dalembert has much more upside than Nazr, Dalembert is much younger and has shown he can change the game. What can Nazr do?

If you are saying that Dalembert will be no better than Mutombo, based on his stats, then you have to say Sweetney will be no better than Clarence Weatherspoon. He's only averaging like 5 or 6 rebounds in just his second season. This is a ridiculous arguement. You put so much into stats, yet you've probably never seen him play.

you're kidding me right? you think dalembert is garbage? if he got more minutes he'd be posting all-star numbers considering he plays in the east and is a center! dalembert is an extremely athletic defensive minded guy who is JUST what this team needs.

We are not landing a stud big unless we take a shot on a Dalembert Or Kwame and hope they excell. &/or we get lucky in the draft and have a stud fall to our laps. We need 2 athletic shotblocking talents to play along side of Sweetney and form a tough 3 man rotation.

Can someone tell me how this trade would happen? Dalembert makes less than KT or Nazr. He makes less than Sweetney. You gotta package Dalembert with Skinner just to get KT.

nice numbers - ZERO impact - all those games were losses. when you're center drops #'s like that, you expect to win, right? not here. never commands double team, he's NOT a starting center.

Aw, it seems I missed the fun part of the thread. I'm with...well, it seems everyone else here. Dalermbert will be a very good C in this league. I would trade Nazr and/or Kurt for him right now as martin and newyorknewyork brought up a while ago.
All of those stats you posted are in 21 mpg. If you're going by the numbers, expect him to get around 30-35 mpg, and is on pace to average 10/10/2.5 or 3, assuming he can stay out of foul trouble. Ofcourse, that's only if you're going to go by stats. Either way he could be a force in the paint for a team that so desperately needs it.
Give me Sammy over any guy we're playing at C.

Dalmbert isn't garbage- at best, he becomes a Camby like player-

At worse, he's some tall, skinny kid who couldn't make it in the NBA.

Would I trade KT for him? Yes. Nazr has been invisible of late and with the season headed the direction of the last 10 games, I'd do that trade now as well- didn't before.

I agree too, but I would be happy with just one athletic shotblocking talent. Lets not be too greedy. If we had 2 we would probably be championship calibur in 2 years as Sweets,Ariza,Craw and marbs and our 2 bigs matured and gel.

Tim Thomas and Mohammed!!!

Mohammed plays the worst D I'v ever seen out of the center spot, and TT has been not only nonexistant this season, but also he managed to negatively affect the games he has played in.

If you bothered to watch a bball game, lik ever, you would notice that Mohammed's numbers a shallow as hell, we loose every time he puts up big numbers, and he play NO D. And you would sure as hell notice that TT has been a colossal bust, barely averaing like 10-12pts shooting well below 40% for most of the season, also playin NO D, and also not rebouding at all.

Delambert on the oher hand is a special talent, that has put up numbers when give playin time, is very young, and is the shotblocking athletic center this team needs so badly.

Watch a game or two before going around and calling people dopes.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

he's not garbage but let's not make him out to be Bill Russell. with him on this team we won't be winning a championship anytime soon. But with someone with the potential of J'Neal like Kwame Brown we might. Not even chandler. I'd rather take a risk on Kwame because if it pans out can be extremely rewarding if not him then we really need to draft the next stud bigman or sign illgaukus or Yao

He many be talent, but taking more risks on low character guys on top of the ones we already got is not a great idea.
